I'm incredibly sad to share that my Mumma died on Tuesday 9th June. As I'm sure you would expect, I don't feel ready to see clients at the moment. Mum's funeral is 25th June, so I'll reassess after then. πŸ’”

Update; Mum has been taken off the ventilator and is breathing by herself. She's not out of the woods as she's had a big operation and is pretty agitated and unsettled at the moment. Your thoughts and best wishes are really appreciated. πŸ™πŸ€—
So, I'm still in Chichester, with my family, as my Mum is on a ventilator in ITU. I'd say it's the hardest time of your life having to talk about next steps for your loved ones. Taking into account their wishes, their quality of life, and the love you have for them. I'm not sure we ever truly believe we've made the right decision, but we have to reach a point where the decision made is made with love and positive intention. The next 24 hours will be critical for mum's health and recovery. I'm lucky I have such a big and loving family to help me through this difficult time. πŸ€—β€οΈπŸ™

It's a strange thing but something I've become used to over the years. When business is slow, something always happens in my personal life that requires my time and energy. Over the last few weeks, I've had a few issues at my new place, which has drained my energy. But more importantly, my mum has been in hospital again since Sunday, and had a big stomach operation today. I'm thankful she's come through it, but I'll be away in a week or so to take care of her once she's home. Update: on my way now as mum is in ITU. πŸ˜”
Life has a habit of doing exactly what is needed, even when it feels negative. πŸ˜‡πŸ™ I hope you're all doing okay.. πŸ€—

It's funny how some things show their true colours when you move them somewhere they can be happy. ☺️

Sorry I've been a bit quiet lately. I'm getting used to my new life and settling in. Like any major changes in life, we owe it to ourselves to ease in slowly. Moving house, getting divorced, changing your job, having a baby, losing a loved one. They're all pretty high on the Richter scale!
The stress we feel from big changes can be overwhelming. It's so important to ground ourselves, take note of the positives of the new situation, release the negatives we may be holding onto, and embrace the shift in our new reality.
I'm used to moving, but it never gets any easier. So much processing of physical and emotional overload. Reading through old letters, browsing photos, checking what 'stuff' is useful and what needs to be cleared. Sometimes having to re-home or let go of things you once held dear. It can be cathartic if we believe the move is propelling us forward to meeting new people and having new life experiences.
If you're going through big changes (or even little ones) and you would like some support in releasing the old emotional ties, give me a shout. Believe me, I understand, and will be grateful for the opportunity to guide you through.
