White Lodge White Lodge provides services that enable those with a range of disabilities, their families and carers to lead fulfilling lives in Surrey and beyond.

We are a registered charity. We specialise in care for those with a diverse range of disabilities, including cerebral palsy and other similar conditions. We’re recognised as a centre of excellence where all the services we offer consistently attain the highest possible standards. It costs over £2.5 million a year to run the White Lodge Centre which is not fully met by statutory sources, so we do rely on voluntary donations to maintain these vital services.

⚠️ White Lodge Service Update ⚠️

Following the Met Office Red Extreme Heat Warning for our area, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close several services to help keep our customers, families, volunteers, and staff safe.

Please swipe through for the latest service updates, including details of closures and changes to service delivery.

Treetops remains open due to air-conditioned facilities throughout the children's home.

We appreciate that these changes may cause inconvenience, but the well-being of our community must come first.

🚧 Weekend Road Closure 🚧

If you're visiting White Lodge over the weekend of 26–29 June, please note that Guildford Road (between Green Lane and Little Green Lane) will be closed from 8pm Friday until 5am Monday.

🚶 Pedestrian access will be maintained.
🚗 Diversions will be in place via Chertsey.
⚠️ Holloway Hill and Hardwick Lane will also be closed during this period.
❤️ White Lodge will remain open - follow the diversion routes in place.

Please allow extra travel time and plan your journey accordingly.

Stay Safe During the Heatwave

Red and Amber Heat Alerts are currently in place, with exceptionally high temperatures expected across our region.

Many of the children, young people and adults supported by White Lodge are more vulnerable to the effects of extreme heat, but hot weather can affect anyone.

Please take a moment to read and share our heat safety advice, including information on staying cool and hydrated, recognising the signs of heat exhaustion, and accessing support if you rely on electricity during a power cut.

By sharing this post, you could help someone stay safe.

Tuesday was a special day for our Nursery children and their families! 👑💙

We were incredibly lucky to enjoy an exclusive visit to Hampton Court Palace while it was closed to the public.

Children explored the historic kitchens, discovered hands-on activities in the Learning Zone, and then enjoyed plenty of fun in the adventure playground.

"Seeing our children and families exploring, learning and having fun together in such a unique setting was wonderful. These shared experiences help build confidence, create connections and make memories that last long after the day is over." Lesleigh Bounds, CEO

Days like these provide opportunities to learn, explore new environments and enjoy quality time together.
