White Lodge

White Lodge White Lodge provides services that enable those with a range of disabilities, their families and carers to lead fulfilling lives in Surrey and beyond.

We are a registered charity. We specialise in care for those with a diverse range of disabilities, including cerebral palsy and other similar conditions. We’re recognised as a centre of excellence where all the services we offer consistently attain the highest possible standards. It costs over £2.5 million a year to run the White Lodge Centre which is not fully met by statutory sources, so we do rely on voluntary donations to maintain these vital services.

Whether they're supporting our services, helping at events, sharing professional skills, or volunteering as part of a corporate team, every volunteer plays a vital role in helping children, young people, adults with disabilities, and their families, thrive.

Something very sweet from our long-time partners at Belron 🍰🧁💛

Their People Team regularly bake for team meetings and turned all their favourite recipes into a cookbook, with all funds raised donated to White Lodge!

Together they raised an amazing £720 🤯

A huge thank you to everyone who supported trustee Mike Meredith’s incredible 9th KOKO Golf Day at Woking Golf Club ⛳️

Thanks to the amazing generosity and support of everyone involved, the day raised over £20,000 ❤️

It was also wonderful to have some of our 18 to 25 members join us on the day alongside staff and volunteers. Opportunities like this help build confidence, independence and inclusion, while creating meaningful connections within the community.

A huge thank you to Mike, everyone who attended, donated, bid in the auction and got behind the spirit of White Lodge throughout the day. What an incredible achievement!

Today is officially the hottest day of the year so far - and while we’re all enjoying the sunshine, it’s important to stay safe in the heat.

Heat exhaustion can come on quickly, especially when you’re out in the sun, exercising, or not drinking enough water.

Look for:
- headache
- dizziness and confusion
- loss of appetite and feeling sick
- sweating with pale, clammy skin
- cramps in the arms, legs, and stomach
- fast, weakening pulse and rapid breathing

Knowing the signs and what to do could help protect you or someone around you.

The hot weather is expected to continue in Surrey over the next few days.

The best thing to do in hot weather is stay out of the direct sun, especially during the hottest part of the day, between 11am and 3pm, as UV rays are strongest during these hours. Keep an eye on Met Office weather forecasts, and see Healthy Surrey for more hot weather tips: https://orlo.uk/z3Bsc
