💛Now that the bookings are live for our first venue and the second venue is soon to be announced I thought it was time to introduce myself! 💚

Hello 👋 I am Joanne and I am the proud new owner and class leader of Baby Sensory Durham 🥰

I LOVE Baby Sensory and attended classes with both of my boys. I remember saying to a friend what an amazing job this would be, so when the opportunity came to own Baby Sensory Durham I jumped at the chance.

I have been a secondary school science teacher for the past 11 years so I am really passionate about the research behind the activities used in Baby Sensory, sharing how the activities help support your little ones learning and development 💛

I am also part of the SEND world as my oldest son has Downs Syndrome and I loved how inclusive the Baby Sensory classes are. Attending the class was one of the highlights of my week, one hour of un-interrupted time, bonding with my baby but also the chance to connect with other parents in the rest break.💚

I am so excited to meet you all!

💗I’ve had some new followers and some new photos taken. The perfect time to do a re- introduction post.

💫 I’m Lindsey. A physiotherapist for 23 years! Graduating from Brunel University in 2002 and I have worked in a wide variety of places, both NHS, private, corporate and occupational health.

💗I opened up my own private physio practice in Sunderland in 2010 and had a growing special interest in women’s health and wellbeing since then. I sold that in 2019 as my family was growing.

💫Im a single mama , co- parenting Aoife and Xander and navigating all the challenges that this brings.

💗After a much needed year out of private practice in 2024 and my 1:1 work I returned to this April 2025.

💗Offering private women health physiotherapy for symptoms such as pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, hysterectomy and for pregnant and post natal ladies as well as those in the peri to post menopause era.

💫I’m based for this work. I truly believe in a holistic blended approach to women’s health incorporating years of study and learnings covering all aspects of women’s health to help women heal, grow and nourish from the inside out.

💗I love empowering women to help them understand conditions are common but not normal and help is out there.

💫 I also offer holistic therapies from here and from in Durham because again I believe not one size fits all and there are many ways to help people heal and achieve their goals.
