Are you ready to become her?

Is your body calling for something new?

FINAL CALL

We begin the journey tomorrow.

I'll be livestreaming each session, but don't worry if the timings don't work for you, most members prefer to catch the replay and work through the programme at their own pace.

For many years, my approach was centred around pushing through, forcing change, and constantly striving for more without truly nurturing myself.

Then midlife taught me something different.

Sometimes the greatest progress comes not from pushing harder, but from listening first and making informed choices.

Listening to our energy.

Listening to our recovery.

Listening to what our bodies actually need.

This week, we'll combine vinyasa yoga, mindful strength training with light weights, breathwork, mindfulness, and mobility practices to help you feel brighter, stronger, and more connected to yourself.

Together, we'll build strength, improve mobility, support bone health, and create a body that feels energised, capable, and empowered. As we age, our fascia changes, we naturally lose muscle mass and bone density, and our bodies need a different kind of care. My goal is to help you maximise what you have now while preparing your body to carry you confidently through the decades ahead.

I've been working on myself for a long time. If you've read my blogs, you'll know this journey has spanned six years and is still ongoing. I'm still a work in progress, but I want to share the practices, habits, and mindset shifts that helped bring me back to myself and continue to keep me going.

Book today and begin tomorrow.

Sign up for the full 3-month programme and save £££s, or join on a monthly subscription.

Midlife Movement - you don't even have to leave your home for it (or socialise ....because we all know that's a peri menopause symptom 🤣)

Thankfully, that particular symptom has passed now, and I want to share this post for anyone navigating that stage of life.

It will pass. Your energy will return, and you'll want to do things again.

Yes, you'll need to rest, but you'll also feel better if you gently push yourself from time to time. Not too often, but often enough to shift the negativity and remind yourself what you're capable of.

Fresh air works wonders. Walking in nature is healing. Overcoming something you thought you couldn't do is empowering.

I've come a long way. I've learned a lot about the body, hormonal shifts, and midlife awakenings. But more importantly, I've learned a lot about myself and who I choose to be at this stage of life.

The mindset shift that comes during this period (aside from the forgetfulness and brain fog 🤣) is fire.

I went through a full-on "f you" phase, and honestly, it was liberating. The people-pleaser in me left the building, and I didn't even realise it needed to until I started shining a light on everything - we rarely address things until we have to because sometimes we don't even realise.

So, would I have chosen the last 6–7 years and all they brought with them? Hell no.

Did I need to go through it all to reach this place? For sure.

Am I grateful for it now? 💯

Would I go back to any stage of life simply because I was younger? Definitely not.

Should we spend our lives chasing youth? Nope. It's a waste of time, and it robs us of happiness in the present. Your 40s will change you, Make peace with it - life is to be lived forwards.

Support your body with collagen, creatine, protein, plenty of fruit and vegetables.

Hydrate.

Prioritise sleep.

Lift weights.

Stretch.

Learn yoga.

Practise mindfulness.

Get outside. Walk in nature.

But most importantly, love yourself.

Work with your body through this process,.not against it

I promise you, it gets better.

This is my journey. Yours will be different, there is no set perimenopause path but you do have your own path & you are free to walk it however you need to. I wouldn't ever tell you how to take your steps but I will help you maintain your physical health & mental wellness to make life easier.

My spine health is incredible thanks to strong flow yoga.
My back is strong & flexible keeping me mobile with optimum bone health.

What I love most is how enjoyable this practice is and how amazing it makes me feel post practice.

True bliss is found in better breathing, a quieter mind and a calmer nervous system.

Midlife strong flow and calm livestream begins at 10am. Link in stories to join.

Summer Yoga ☀️

A new practice is coming.

Over the past few years, I’ve been deeply working on myself, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Along the way, my practice has evolved into something more intentional, more freeing, and more connected.

I stopped forcing what no longer worked for me (ashtanga's discipline) and i started listening to what my body actually needed right now. Don't get me wrong I still love Ashtanga and I'm here for it when I can but I need something more for my body through this mid life phase.

Now I’m finally ready to share that journey with you.

This isn’t about pushing. It’s about movement, energy, growth, softness, strength, and showing up for yourself exactly as you are and knowing that on each given day that will all change.

I can’t wait to practice together this summer.

For years yoga supported me deeply.

It helped me breathe through difficult seasons of life, reconnect with myself, regulate my nervous system and find moments of calm within the chaos. Ashtanga was my chosed path for the challenge, the intensive study and the discipline.

But as I moved through midlife and peri-menopause, I began to realise something important:

I needed different.

My body was changing.
My energy was changing.
My strength was changing.

I was experiencing stiffness, joint pain, muscular aches, disrupted sleep and periods of exhaustion that felt very different to anything I had known before.

And whilst yoga continued to help me emotionally and mentally, I realised I also needed to actively rebuild physical strength.

So I slowly began incorporating short mindful weight training and bodyweight exercises alongside my yoga practice.

Not punishing workouts.
Not extreme fitness culture.
Not “bounce back” pressure.

Just intentional movement that helped me feel strong, capable, mobile and connected to my body again.

I gained weight and struggled to lose it, i had to seriously modify my trainng regime but when i did

I lost weight

I became stronger.
Leaner.
More energised.
More emotionally steady.
My sleep improved.
My posture changed.
My confidence returned.

Most importantly, I stopped fighting my body and started learning how to support it properly through this stage of life.

The Midlife Movement Programme was born from that experience.

A space where yoga, mindful strength training, mobility, breathwork and nervous system support come together to help women move through midlife with more strength, calm and confidence.

Because midlife is not the end of vitality.

Sometimes it is the beginning of finally coming home to yourself.

I'm sharing it all throughout this summer - I've changed now and I'm happy with that.

Online livestream programme now open

When they finish the livestream practice and ask if they can replay it again 🙈😍

This entire month has been fabulous. We’ve worked on so many beautiful things that gave us exactly what we needed and left us feeling incredible.

Today’s practice was perfect for a sunny day like today… let the sunshine in 🧡 you can read more on that here...
https://myyogalivestream.com/my-yoga-blog-1/f/notes-from-this-mornings-practice

Or better still complete the practice,
It’s all available on demand and will work beautifully throughout the summer months, so if you missed the May Yoga Programme in real time, make sure you complete it in June, July or even August.

I have such great intentions for our practice this summer. It’s a journey I need to take myself, and if you’re navigating midlife, I think you’ll benefit from it too.

I’ve changed. I’ve learned so much over the past 6 years, and now that I’ve let go of who I was before, I’m becoming more of who I need to be to move forward.

There’s a 3-month programme beginning 1st June that will carry us right through the summer months. We’ll be living seasonally, through the seasons of the year and the seasons of our lives.

You know what season I’m in… and if you’re there too, you won’t regret joining me.

See the website for details: [www.myyogalivestream.com]

If you’re already subscribed to the online studio, you already have access. Otherwise, the sign-up links are there under Midlife Mindful Movement.

I’m so excited 🩷
But first, let’s enjoy May for all that it was… and still is.

Have a beautiful bank holiday Monday - no practice tonight. Beginners or those making a return can sign up for June via the website.

Love & Light
Lyndsey 🧡
