Is self-massage part of your self-care routine?

I’ve been doing a lot of self-massage recently. Between client, after clients and on my days off. It’s been a beautiful shock to be so busy and booked up for the last few months but it’s also been a bit of shock to the body.

I was always told by other therapists that it’s the back that’s always sore from this work but for me it’s my forearms that are feeling it the most at the moment.

I’ve been using it to test new oils and master some deeper tissue and trigger points in the my arms and it has really really made a big difference.

But it’s also made me think…

One of my core principles is there is no such thing as the perfect massage. The only thing I can do is craft a massage that’s right for you that day.

I can’t quite believe one year ago I opened the books for Ember Massage and what an incredible year it’s been! So many people have made this possible and I will be eternally grateful for the support and guidance I’ve had.

And I might be biased but I think my second year is going to be even more amazing than the first, with new services and offerings coming soon.
