Link in BIO - When did success become something we had to prove?

For so long, women have been taught to measure success by what we achieve, what we earn, what we own and how much we can carry without falling apart.

But perhaps success looks different now.

Maybe it’s building a life that actually feels like yours.
Choosing purpose over pressure.
Protecting your peace.
Being present for the people you love.
Having the courage to change direction when something no longer fits.
And becoming a woman you’re proud to be, rather than a woman everyone else expects you to be.

Transformation isn’t about becoming someone different.

It’s about coming home to yourself.

In my latest blog, The Evolution of a Woman: Redefining Success in 2026, I explore ambition, burnout, motherhood, identity, growth and what it really means to create a life that matters.

Because success isn’t one size fits all.

And you don’t have to build a life that looks impressive from the outside if it doesn’t feel fulfilling on the inside. šŸ¤

One of the greatest benefits of being self-employed is having the freedom to pause.

It can be incredibly challenging at times, especially as a single parent, but being able to step away from work for a few hours and bake with your little one while they’re off school is something I’ll never take for granted.

The deadlines can wait. The emails can wait. The work will still be there.

But these little moments? They don’t come around twice. ā¤ļø

Sometimes, being able to enjoy the simple things in life is the biggest success of all.

We often celebrate the friends who make us laugh when life is good.

But the friendships that shape us most are rarely built in the easy moments.

They’re built by the friend who sat beside your hospital bed. The one who held your hand through life’s biggest moments. The one who refused to let you disappear, dragged you out of the house, helped you into your favourite dress, and reminded you there was still a version of yourself worth fighting for.

As we grow, we’ll naturally meet new people and make new friendships. That’s one of life’s greatest gifts.

Just don’t forget the friends who loved you when you were hardest to love, stood beside you when life felt heavy, and never stopped believing in you.

Friendships, like relationships, deserve to be nurtured. The people who have walked through your darkest days are often the ones who deserve a place in your brightest ones.

ā¤ļø Tag a friend who’s been there through it all.

The neurospicy in me notices the pattern immediately.
The therapist in me sits there trying to understand the psychology behind it, trying to empathise and give space.
I think Some people move towards Moments of safety and familiarity, then instinctively regulate themselves
through distance When tne emotonal intensty
becomes too loud internally, and the only way to feel ā€˜normal and safelis to shutdown from the overwhelmto understand it.
Not always because they don’t feel it something, but because most of the time they do.
Human connection is complicated like that.
