✨ A Little Reminder About Appointment Cancellations ✨
As a small independent business, I wanted to share why my cancellation policy is so important.
Every floatation session has costs attached before you even arrive. I pay for pool hire, lifeguard cover, insurance, heated eye masks, refreshments, and the products that help create your experience. These costs are incurred whether the appointment goes ahead or not.
When someone doesn't attend their appointment or cancels at the last minute, that time is almost impossible to refill. The result is that I've paid all of those costs while receiving no income for the session.
To help avoid genuine mistakes, when booking online you manually select the date and time you wish to attend. Once your booking is complete, you'll receive a confirmation email with your appointment details, followed by a reminder email on the day of your session. I always recommend taking a moment to check these emails and, if you use a digital calendar, adding your appointment straight away.
I completely understand that genuine emergencies happen, and I will always approach those situations with kindness and understanding. However, forgotten appointments, booking the wrong date, or simply changing plans still have a significant impact on a small business.
Thank you for understanding why this policy is in place. It isn't there to be difficult—it's simply there to protect myself and future of this business and allow me to continue offering these experiences with the care they deserve. Your support and understanding mean more than you know. 🤍
