Healthy New Me Looking after health and wellness through excellent nutrition and positive mental health messages

At Healthy New Me, I’m passionate about supporting women through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond β€” helping them feel healthier, more confident, and more connected. I focus on nutrition, mindfulness, and creating a strong sense of community, so no one has to go through this journey alone. With my background as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN),

Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and Licensed Menopause Champion with the Menopause Experts Group, I combine clinical expertise with a compassionate, personal approach. Through group sessions, one-to-one coaching, online support, and in-person meetups, Healthy New Me offers flexible, tailored guidance to help women take control of their health and wellbeing β€” not just during menopause, but for the years beyond.

Something NEW is growing at Healthy New Me… 🌸

We've been busy behind the scenes.

Healthy New Me has had a refresh β€” with new systems, new resources, new ways of supporting our community and an even bigger focus on helping women make healthy changes that actually work for their lives.

And we've just opened the doors to our brand new:

🌸 HNM RESOURCE HUB 🌸

A growing collection of free tools, reflections and resources designed to help you pause, reflect, learn and make small changes that work for you.

Whether you're thinking about your habits, your relationship with food, your wellbeing, your motivation or simply trying to work out what you need right now…

there's something in there for you.

And this is only the beginning.

I'm going to keep adding to the hub as we develop more resources, so go and have a nosey now and keep checking back! πŸ‘€

πŸ‘‰ www.healthynewme.net/Resources

And if you've been wondering what we're doing at HNM…

Healthy Habit Focus Fortnight is coming! 🌱

Our next HHFF begins with the pre-week on 14th September.

It's a chance to get a taste of the HNM approach, our community and the way we look at healthy habits β€” without pretending that changing your life means becoming a completely different person overnight.

Small changes. Real life. Real women. Real support. ❀️

If you've been thinking β€œmaybe I need to do something for me…”

This might be your sign. 🌸

More details coming very soon.

🌸 Something BIG has changed at Healthy New Me...

We've been a little quiet behind the scenes...

because we've been busy. πŸ‘€

Healthy New Me has had a proper rethink.

We've revamped, refreshed, decluttered, reorganised and taken a really good look at what we want HNM to be for the women who come through our doors.

And the answer?

More YOU. ❀️

More focus on your health and wellbeing goals.

More support.

More education.

More community.

More celebrating the things that matter beyond a number on the scales.

And a whole lot more of the Healthy New Me magic that we've always loved β€” just with some big changes happening behind the scenes. ✨

Tomorrow, Tuesday 1st September, we reopen our doors to our existing HNM community...

And if you've ever wondered what Healthy New Me is actually all about, 14th September might be a rather good time to find out. πŸ˜‰

🌱 Healthy Habit Focus Fortnight is coming.

Two weeks to focus on your habits, your wellbeing and the things that can help you feel more like you again β€” with the support, encouragement and community that sits at the heart of HNM.

It's a little taste of what we've been building.

And you might just find that you like it. πŸ₯°

Can we talk about the scales for a minute?

I've spent far too many years allowing that little number to determine whether I felt I'd had a "good" week or a "bad" week.

But the scales don't tell the whole story.

They don't tell you how well you've slept.

They don't tell you how strong you've become.

They don't tell you how much muscle you've built.

They don't tell you how stressed you've been, what's happening hormonally, how well you're nourishing yourself or how much energy you have.

And they certainly don't tell you what your body can actually DO.

A gain doesn't automatically mean you've failed. And a loss doesn't automatically mean you've succeeded.

Your weight is information. It can be useful information when we're looking at the bigger picture of health, but it isn't a verdict on you.

This is something I've had to learn throughout my own health journey.

I'm much more interested now in the bigger picture:

❀️ Am I nourishing myself well?
❀️ Am I moving my body?
❀️ Am I sleeping?
❀️ Am I managing my stress?
❀️ Do I have energy?
❀️ Can my body do the things I want it to do?
❀️ Do I actually feel well?

That's health to me.

And that's the kind of conversation I want to have during Healthy Habit Focus Fortnight.

We're moving away from "How much weight did you lose?" and towards "How are you actually doing?"

Healthy Habit Focus Fortnight β€” Preparation Week starts 14 September.

If knowing what to do was enough, none of us would struggle with our health.
Most of us already know the basics.
Eat well. Move more. Sleep. Drink water. Look after ourselves.
But real life gets in the way.
We're exhausted. We're stressed. We're looking after everyone else. We're emotional. We're busy. We've tried diets before. We feel like we've failed.
Maybe you don't need more willpower.
Maybe you need support.
That's one of the reasons I created Healthy Habit Focus Fortnight.
Not another diet.
Not another list of rules.
Not another opportunity to feel like you've failed.
Two weeks to understand your health, experiment with healthy habits and start building things you can actually live with.
If you're ready to do it differently, I'd love you to join me. 🩷
Preparation Week starts 14 September.

Your health isn't just what you eat.

It's the people you love.
The memories you make.
The things your body allows you to do.
The moments you get to be present for.

It's having the energy to dance.
The strength to walk.
The confidence to say yes to life.
And the ability to be present for the moments that matter.

Health is wealth.

And sometimes looking after yourself means making space for life too. ❀️

With love,

Healthy New Me

I’m done with dieting. But I’m not done with being healthy.
When I started my health journey in 2022, I was chasing weight loss because I’d been told that was what I needed to do.
And yes, I lost a lot of weight. I became fitter, stronger and healthier β€” and I felt bloody amazing.
But my body has changed again since then.
And I've realised something really important:
My body changing doesn't mean I've lost my health.
The habits, knowledge and understanding I built along the way have stayed with me.
I don't need to recreate the body I had at my thinnest.
I want to continue looking after the body I have now.
Because health isn't a dress size or a number on the scales.
Health means something very different to me now.
It means nourishing myself, moving my body, looking after my mental health, managing my stress, and building habits that actually work in real life.
And that's exactly why I created Healthy Habit Focus Fortnight.
A fortnight to focus on your health, your habits and your next chapter β€” without another bloody diet.

The kids are starting their next chapter.

Back to school. College. University. New routines. New timetables.

And maybe, finally, a little more breathing space for YOU.

September is a month of transitions β€” and while everyone else is talking about new beginnings for their children, I want to ask:

What if you made one for yourself?

Because I’m done with dieting. And I think you might be too.

No more restricting.
No more starting again every Monday.
No more feeling guilty about food.
No more chasing a number on the scales.
No more believing you have to be perfect.

What if we stopped dieting and started investing in our health instead?

Because HEALTH IS WEALTH.

Healthy Habit Focus Fortnight is 14 days of supported habit change, focusing on the foundations of good health β€” nourishment, protein, hydration, movement, mindset, habits, self-care and consistency.

Not perfection.

You’ll get education, practical tools, accountability, community support and me in your corner.

Our Preparation Week begins 14 September 2026, followed by the 14-day Focus Fortnight.

And because this is our introductory launch, you can join for Β£50.

A new chapter for Healthy New Me πŸ’œ

When I launched Healthy New Me in January 2024, it was a Herbalife Breakfast Nutrition Club.

I'd used the products myself to lose 6 stone and, at that point, I was at one of the fittest points of my life. I genuinely loved what I'd achieved, loved the community I'd created and still love the products.

But… my journey since then has been far from smooth.

Over the last three years, I've had periods of ill health, as has my family. And through all of that, one thing became increasingly obvious to me:

My perimenopause, and now menopause, was a HUGE part of how I experienced and managed everything that was happening in my life.

And that's when Healthy New Me started to become something much bigger.

I trained as a Licensed Menopause Champion and began bringing together that knowledge with something I've been building for much longer β€” my career as a senior nurse, my experience in public health and education, and my academic background in research and evidence-based practice.

And Healthy New Me has evolved.

🌱 We're moving away from being a Herbalife-led business.

πŸ₯— Nutrition products are still available for those who choose to use them, but they are absolutely not a requirement. We have clear, practical food-first alternatives for everyone, so you can choose the approach that works best for your lifestyle, preferences and circumstances β€” without being pushed towards products.

β˜€οΈ Our Breakfast Club is becoming Healthy Habit Breakfasts β€” focused on habits, behaviour change, nutrition and support rather than a particular product.

🌸 We're supporting women and their families through the life transition that is perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause.

🧠 We're focusing on healthy habit formation, personal growth, wellbeing and evidence-based education.

🀝 And we're building a community where women β€” and the occasional man! β€” can come together, learn, laugh, support each other and grow.

And when I say evidence-based, I don't mean it as a fancy buzzword.

It means bringing together years of clinical experience, academic knowledge and the ability to critically consider research and apply it to real people, in real lives, with real circumstances.

Because you deserve to be supported by someone who doesn't just tell you what to do.

You deserve to understand why.

And you deserve to make informed choices that are right for you.

I'm not here to sell you a product. I'm here to share my expertise, experience and knowledge and help you find the approach that works for you. πŸ’œ

And we're giving the space a little refresh too! ✨

We're taking a week off next week while I disappear to watch my son get married πŸ’β€οΈ and then give our space on Old Hall Road a much-needed declutter, clean and refresh.

We'll be back open from 7am–11am on Tuesday 1st September, ready to start this next chapter properly.

So if you've been before, haven't been for a while, or you've never been at all…

Pop in. Have a cuppa. Say hi. Have a nosey. β˜•πŸ’œ

You don't have to commit to anything. Just come and see what Healthy New Me is becoming.

And today marks the first step in that next chapter.

πŸŽ‰ The brand-new Healthy New Me website is LIVE!

It brings together where we've come from, where we're going and, most importantly, how I can support you.

I'd love you to have a nosey around it and tell me what you think. πŸ‘€πŸ’œ

πŸ‘‰https://www.healthynewme.net/

This isn't the end of the old Healthy New Me.

It's everything I've learned along the way becoming the new Healthy New Me.

And honestly?

I think she's going to be bloody brilliant. πŸ’œ

Evidence-based menopause support, practical nutrition and healthy habit coaching to help you understand your body, make informed choices and feel like yourself again.

28/07/2026

Have you ever looked in the mirror and felt as though you don't quite recognise yourself anymore? πŸ€”

Not just physically...
But emotionally.
Mentally.

Like somewhere along the way you've lost the person you used to be.

If that sounds familiar, I want you to know one thing...

You are not alone.

Over the next few days I'll be sharing a series exploring why so many women feel this way during perimenopause and menopause, and more importantly, how we can begin to find ourselves again.
If today's video resonated with you, I'd love to know...

πŸ’¬ Have you ever found yourself asking, "Where have I gone?"
