Please be aware that we have been made aware of a national PRECAUTIONARY recall of some class 2 medicines and are asking any patients who have been prescribed these drugs from us recently to check their packs.

The recall affects ONE batch of Ramipril 2.5mg Capsules following the identification of a potential packaging error at the manufacturing site (batch number GR155023).

Patients prescribed Ramipril 2.5mg Capsules are advised to check the batch number on their packaging.

Patients with affected packs (batch number GR155023) should stop taking them immediately, return them to their pharmacy and contact their GP practice. This affects a small number of packs ONLY and patients with unaffected packs (the majority) may continue to take their capsules as prescribed.

⚠️ Important medicine recall from the manufacturer:-
Crescent Pharma Ltd is initiating a PRECAUTIONARY recall of one batch of Ramipril 2.5mg capsules.

If you have received Crescent Pharma Ltd Ramipril 2.5mg capsules within the last 28 days, please check for the following on the packaging:
• Batch number: GR155023
• Expiry date: 08/2027
• Pack size: 28

If the above match, please open the Ramipril box and check the foil blister, capsules inside. If the pack you received is the affected batch :-

• Return the pack to your local pharmacy, and
• Contact your GP to arrange a new supply.

If you have received this batch of Ramipril and have taken the medication already, please contact your GP for advice.

To all our customers, due to resurfacing of the road, Church Lane will be closed in parts over the next few days. The pharmacy will be open as normal. The letter has been incorrectly issued and the council have been made aware of the error.
