I’ve just nipped to The Derbyshire Gift Centre in Calver this morning. It’s my favourite shop at this time of year.
They decorate the windows fantastic, it must take them ages to make the display.

I treated myself to some new bits 😁

Are you excited to see the total eclipse later today?

Or like me is it making you feel unwell?

Strange symptoms of tiredness and headache all morning that does not seem to be improving.
Could it be the eclipse that causing it? 🤔

So something sad happened last night, I found Daisy my Emperor Dragonfly dead in my kitchen 😢

I loved watching her fly over my pond and rest on the waterfall. I think she found herself trapped in the kitchen and flew into the glass doors.

I haven’t decided what to do with her yet but I thought I’d share this information I found on Google

The spiritual meaning of a dragonfly centers on transformation, adaptability, and clarity. Emerging from water into the air, it symbolizes moving past illusions, embracing personal growth, and living lightly in the present moment.

Core Spiritual MeaningsMetamorphosis:
Shifting from an aquatic nymph to a winged adult represents profound personal evolution and maturity.
Illusion-Piercing Clarity:
Their large compound eyes and multi-directional flight teach us to see past surface-level truths.
Emotional Depth:
Linked to water and air, they encourage acknowledging and balancing deep feelings with a light heart.
Spiritual Messenger:
Often viewed as a comforting sign or visitor from the spirit realm during times of transition or grief.

Cultural Perspectives
Native American: Seen as sacred messengers of renewal, swiftness, and healing.
Japanese: Symbolizes courage, strength, and victorious summer energy.
Celtic: Regarded as mystical travelers between the physical world and the realm of spirit.
