If we take the time out to find calm, whether that be in nature, exercise, meditation, listening to music, creative endeavours or whatever else works for you - we can pay attention to how we’re feeling. We can connect to our intuition which helps us to know what feels right and wrong for us. It can help guide us if we have the self trust to follow through with those feelings.

It’s really important to pay attention to what lights us up and to follow our passions in life. It might not be that we can fully realise them right away but it’s good to look at how we can include them in our lives or work towards them. These are the things that show us the path to a happy life 🥰

It’s really hot here in the UK at the moment, so I’m taking it a bit easier than usual and focussing on staying cool and hydrated. Unfortunately we don’t have air conditioning in the house because it’s only like this for a week or two but us brits, we don’t like to complain about the weather 😆 Also keeping all our animals cool with fans, ice packs, cool coats and ice 🥵🧊 🐹 🐶 ☀️

If you’re facing hot weather, feeling tired, run down or overwhelmed, it’s okay to take things a bit easier for a few days.

On the days we’re not feeling our best it’s ok to adjust our schedule accordingly.

✨ Apparently I managed to upload a screenshot instead of the actual video earlier 🤦‍♀️ 😆 So here’s what I was actually trying to share…

My new motto is:

“Is this good enough?”

This is something I’ve been working on recently, I often share as I learn and grow myself. This isn’t a new concept for me but even though I’ve recognised and worked on it, I’m still identifying areas where it shows up.

I realised I was still putting pressure on myself to get things “right” and holding myself to standards that were often much higher than they needed to be.

Hopefully adopting this phrase can help others too 💜

Take a moment to reset with me - listen to the sounds of nature as you take some deep slow breaths and relax any tension in your body.

Doing this a few times a day can calm the nervous system and greatly reduce stress and overwhelm. It will help you to slow down, think clearly and deal with whatever you face in day to day life more easily.
