Don’t miss this Nigella summer forever evening!! it promises to be another Taste sensation, the Menu I will post on Instagram stories, please remember if you are vegetarian or vegan we can create a wonderful Bespoke menu for you! But please do book as we have very limited tickets available and we’d like to keep these evenings high-quality and intimate. 🙏🙏

Our MEDesque Supper Club tonight, inspired by is SOLD OUT
cannot wait to cook up a storm for our guests tonight!! The LOCAL slow cooked lamb shoulder has been slowly roasting all afternoon!
Will share lots either late tonight or in the morning, and we will announce our next Supper Club event on Monday! I am off to light a fire pit or two!!

As it’s a Mediterranean night! I felt compelled to tell you that we only have three tables left for our forthcoming Supper Club this coming Friday, Friday, the 29th of May!! Menu influenced by and her new book MEDesque!
I will post the menu now on stories, but please grab one of the last three tables, it’s going to be 25° and the most perfect night for a Mediterranean Supper Club in our courtyard garden!

Carlo Petrini died yesterday. He was the founder of and indeed who I volunteer for and support.
I first came across Slow Food and the story of the movement when living in London in the 90s. For me, Carlo was the ultimate Food activist. His Italian food heritage and food journalistic background placed him well to begin a food revolution! His fierce commitment to fair food for all ignited my more political stance on what’s gone wrong with food!
My favourite quote of his…
“We must have the courage and strength to eradicate a system that just isn’t working”.
I intend to continue to have courage to do this. I will write more about the founding of Slow Food and my respect for Carlo in our next Newsletter to our Barn Customers.
