Wow this year marks 20 years in tattooing.
A massive milestone in any walk of life, and one im incredibly proud of, especially in an industry where burnout is real, the physical toll is real, not to mension the artists that just dont make it.
Reaching 2 decades in the trade feels huge.
This industry has taken a lot from me over the years. I missed out on plenty while trying to knuckle down and earn my place. But it’s also given me just as much back.
I’m forever grateful for the people I’ve met along the way, clients, fellow artists, friends. Whether it was trading knowledge, getting tattooed, or just talking rubbish between sessions and having a laugh in the studio it all mattered and you've all shaped my career and journey.
Im grateful every day!
I’ll always be in debt to Stewart for taking me on all those years ago.
The tattoo world has changed massively since I started. Some changes have been brilliant, others challenging especially the rise of social media. I’m still learning, still adapting, still terrible terrible at posting, but still here.
Ill get there one day!
Here’s to the legacy phase of my career.
And hoping i get another 20 years out of my hands, wrists and back.
PS: If you’ve got ideas on how I should celebrate or mark this milestone, I’m all ears.
Appreciate every single one of you.
