Starfish Hydrotherapy Pool Warm, water hydrotherapy pool in Chippenham open to the public 7 days a week. There are also adjustable changing beds if required.

WELCOME TO THE STARFISH HYDROTHERAPY POOL
The pool officially opened in September 2011 and is a purpose built facility for people with permanent or temporary disabilities and general health issues. It is located alongside St Nicholas School in Chippenham but has it’s own separate entrance with ample free parking for both cars and minibuses. The pool is fully accessible from the car park through to

the pool, with a hoist system linking the changing areas, showers and pool. The pool is 8 metres long by 8 metres wide and has a series of wide steps to enter the pool. Its depth ranges from 0.9 – 1.2 metres, enabling visitors who are not confident swimmers to still enjoy the benefits of hydrotherapy. The water temperature is kept at a constant 33°C

🌊 LIFESAVING WEEK IS BACK! 🌊
📅 Monday 11th – Sunday 17th May

This week, all our swim lessons will take on a vital new focus — teaching essential self-survival and lifesaving skills. Each class will take a different format, designed to equip children with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe in and around water.

We’ve seen first-hand how the skills taught during Lifesaving Week have helped several of our swimmers save themselves or others in real-life situations — it truly can make all the difference.

👕 Please ensure your child wears a t-shirt over their swimsuit for these sessions.
📢 We ask for your full support by making sure your child attends and actively takes part — these lessons are just as important as learning strokes or technique.

Let’s work together to build water confidence, awareness, and lifesaving ability. This week could save a life. 💙
