We’re in week 3 of the term and we’ve had a new mama join us every week so far 🥰 There’s no need to wait for the start of a term to come along to Singing Mamas. You come when you’re ready - whether it’s because you’ve just started maternity leave (sessions are free from 36 weeks of pregnancy!) or because you’re venturing out with your new baby, whether you’ve just moved to the area or you’ve been busy and waiting for the right time. We’re not a choir, we’re a group of women who love to sing, with or without babies - and whenever you’re ready to come and sing with us you will be so welcome 🧡 Come and join us on Wednesday mornings in Charlton near Malmesbury and Friday mornings in Kington St Michael near Chippenham. Booking link in bio or send me a message.

What a beautiful sound created by these mamas (and grandmama!). None of them call themselves ‘singers’ but they all come and sing because it makes them feel good. Would you like to join us? We’re at just outside Malmesbury on Wednesday mornings and in Kington St. Michael village hall on Friday mornings 🧡

Because you know I’m all about that cake, bout that cake, no biscuits 😂

Every Singing Mamas session I’ve held so far has featured homemade cake - and here’s a snapshot of some of the bakes I’ve taken with me! I love being able to treat the women who come to my groups with homemade treats and give them the space to chat over a cuppa and a cake at the end of my sessions.

I’d love to know your favourite cake! 😋

I’m a big time fan and love sharing her Baby Led Weaning recipes with my mamas, too 🥰

I can’t even begin to count the number of times I’ve put my children’s needs above my own, because that’s what we do, right? But if you have a child or children who are up at 6am and don’t go to bed until 7.30 or 8pm then you’re working a 14 hour day every day - plus any nighttime wake-ups - and that is exhausting! Taking 90 minutes in a week to prioritise your wellbeing can be the breather that you need, and you don’t even have to find childcare because Singing Mamas allows you to do something for you, with them. And what an amazing modelling opportunity, showing your children that your needs matter and that your cup can and should be filled.

I’ll bring the toys, the songs and the cake. You bring yourself and any little ones you have with you.

I cannot tell you how welcome you are at Singing Mamas. First time mama, experienced mama, expectant mama, grandmama, nervous mama, excited mama - whoever you are and whatever you’re feeling you are welcome 🧡

Our Wednesday group has mamas from Malmesbury, Cricklade, Tetbury and beyond and our Friday group has mamas from Chippenham, Corsham, Swindon and more. We come together, sing and share homemade cake. This is not a baby group, this is a women’s group where your wellbeing is the greatest priority. Come and find your village with us, you won’t regret it!

Walking the talk this morning - I am one tired mama and this morning I absolutely felt the benefit of these amazing singing circles as well as having the joy of leading one 🧡

I want to take every tired mama by the hand and lead her into the circle because I know that it helps. If you’re that tired mama, come and sing with us x

This evening I cracked out my latest delivery from (an excellent Christmas present from my husband!) and it looked so Singing Mamas it had to be worth a photo! 🧡

This morning’s group at was absolutely magical. We sang some calm, quiet, reflective songs and the atmosphere was alive with the medicine of the songs. I’m often guilty of moving onto the next song too quickly but today we enjoyed the vibrations of the songs in silence for a moment before moving on. As we moved through the session we sang a couple of more upbeat songs before finishing and having some cake. And then the magic continued. We connected on a much deeper level than the usual chat, almost like we know each other now, we’ve shared the medicine of the songs and we needed to voice some really difficult thoughts and feelings. Each of us opened up and shared some of our vulnerability with these women we have met through song, these mothers whose experiences of motherhood are so different but also so similar. I felt seen, I felt heard, and I saw the women who trusted me with their thoughts and feelings.

It’s been an emotional day for me having opened up in a different way with my group this morning, so this evening’s chocolate indulgence felt just right - and to open the box to find orange! I love the tricks the universe plays sometimes.

Singing Mamas is so special, and holding space for the women who share it with me is truly humbling. I feel very much like I am never off-duty, never truly free to stop and be except when I am in the circle of women who come to sing with me. Thank you ladies, for being, seeing and sharing.
