Meet the team Monday see's us saying hello to Hannah this week!

Hannah is our Head of People and Training and has been with CCC for just over 11 and a half years now! One of her jobs is to manage the work rota, so if you ever need a visit adjusting or to chat about timings, she's your go to!

When we asked Hannah what she enjoys most about working in care, she said "For me, it's knowing that I'm part of a company that goes above and beyond in making a difference in peoples lives; knowing that our team might be the only person they see that day and that they bring such joy to the lives of our clients. It's such a rewarding feeling to know you're helping others!".

Outside of work Hannah is a keen gardener, loves unwinding with a knitting pattern or getting out in the countryside taking part in clay pigeon shoots!

Despite mum's initial anxieties about accepting support at home, the carers became great friends to her whilst providing excellent day to day care.

They supported her through difficult times, and helped her to find joy in her days.

The staff were flexible, responsive, compassionate and kind. As well as excellent care to mum, the team provided ongoing support to the wider family. We are hugely grateful to them.

Have you ever wondered where to start when looking for care?

It's something that can really be very daunting and until you or a loved one needs it, it's probably also something you've never really thought about. It really can feel like quite the mine field, especially when you hear such awful things in the news about how bad care can be.

The good news is, there are loads of tools out there to help you kickstart your search!

We at CCC are always more than happy to share our knowledge and offer advice on what sorts of things to look for, avoid or the sorts of questions you should ask!

We always highly recommend using the Care Quality Commission's website as this offers a completely unbiased report on each care agency out there that is regulated by the CQC.

Meet the team Monday!

Say hi to Dawn the other half of our founding partnership of CCC.

Dawn is our Operations Director as well as a Registered Manager and has a long background in working in the care sector, starting at the age of 16 working at Penhurst School.

When Penhurst closed down, our CCC founders sat down and decided to take on adult social care and strive daily to provide the best care in the area.

Dawn loves dogs, owning two of her own and will often be found strolling around the town with these two towing her along. Outside of work and dog walks, Dawn is an avid reader and loves nothing more than a good book - she's also a mean Gin Rummy player!
