Dolphin Mobility is a family run business, based in Chobham, Surrey supplying and installing disability equipment such as stair lifts, hoists and through floor lifts to the general public and local authorities. We are looking for someone to join our office team. The applicant must enjoy working closely with others, be flexible to the tasks required, organised and methodical.

Please find below a list of basic day to day duties for the Office Administrator:

• Organising Engineers and managing their daily diary
• Booking in quotes with customers
• Answering the telephone, dealing with customer queries, breakdowns, service bookings.
• Filing Engineers job reports.

The successful applicant must be/have:
• Self-Motivated individual
• Confident and works well under pressure
• Methodical, organised and able to multi task with attention to detail.
• A Professional and articulate telephone manner and be competent when dealing with the general public.
• Have a good knowledge of Microsoft programmes and computer skills.

This position offers great scope for progression within the company with plenty of responsibilities to take on.

Most of your training will be done on the job, with existing staff explaining our systems and procedures. You will also get a chance to go out with the engineers to gather valuable product knowledge.

Salary is £18,000 - £22,000 FTE covering the hours of 8:30am to 17:30pm Monday to Friday and the position would be permanent after a 3 month probationary period.

Job Title
Stairlift and Hoist Engineer reporting to the Office Manager.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Maintaining mobility equipment both as services and breakdowns.
• Installing stairlifts and mobility hoists
• Occasionally delivering lifts and parts to other Engineers on site.
• Occasionally assisting the Store Manager with repairs and lift preparation in the workshop.
• Completing all necessary paperwork efficiently and comprehensively for each visit as these reports will be shared with the customer.

You will need the following skills:

• Ideal candidate must be hard-working and dedicated, ready to follow instruction and be able to work under their own initiative.
• Be flexible, the job can vary from day to day, everyone in the company is expected to be flexible as a large part of the business is reactionary.
• Must be organised, confident, well presented with a strong sense of customer service and an eye for detail.
• Must have a clean driving licence.

When we and the successful candidate are confident in their abilities, they will be expected to work independently.

Trainee Stairlift and Hoist Engineer reporting to the Office Manager.

Main duties and responsibilities
Initially shadowing a Senior Engineer to learn:

Problem solving and general product knowledge maintaining equipment both as services and breakdowns.

Occasionally delivering lifts and parts to other Engineers on site.

Occasionally assisting the Store Manager with repairs and lift preparation in the workshop.

Completing all necessary paperwork efficiently and comprehensively for each visit as these reports will be shared with the customer.

Eventually when competent and confident, installing stair lifts.

You will need the following skills:

Ideal candidate must be hard-working and dedicated, ready to follow instruction and be able to work under their own initiative.

Be flexible, the job can vary from day to day, everyone in the company is expected to be flexible as a large part of the business is reactionary.
