You have all heard me talking about how I reclaim my energy back to me at the end of every week - as promised here is how I do it. Adapt and change it to suit you.
During the week, we give our energy to people, places, worries, conversations and situations without always realising it.
That doesn’t mean anyone has deliberately taken it from us.
It simply means parts of our attention and energy can remain caught up in things long after the moment has passed.
Once a week, I take a few minutes to call mine back.
Stand with both feet firmly on the ground. Barefoot outside is lovely, but your kitchen floor will do just as well.
Close your eyes and take several slow, steady breaths.
Notice anything from the week that still feels as though it is taking up space within you a person, a conversation, a worry or somewhere you have been.
Then say:
I call my energy back to me
from every person, place and situation
where I may have left it.
I return any energy that is not mine
with no judgement and no fear.
I place my feet upon the ground
and feel the earth supporting me.
From the earth below, I draw strength
and reclaim the foundations that make me whole.
With every steady breath,
I return to myself.
Grounded.
Protected.
Present.
I am here.
I am whole.
I am one.
Imagine your own energy gently returning to you, while anything that doesn’t belong to you leaves peacefully.
Take one final breath, move your hands and feet, and give yourself a moment before carrying on with your day.
You don’t need anything special to do this.
Just a few quiet minutes and the intention to come back to yourself.
