🌱 Our Garden Transformation — The Real Lancashire Bowen Therapy Welcome
If you’ve ever searched for Lancashire Bowen Therapy on Google Maps, you’ll have seen a picture of our house from 2022. It looks rough — overgrown, untidy, and nothing like the home or therapy space we’ve worked so hard to create. It’s not a great first impression, and it doesn’t reflect who we are today.
So I wanted to share the real story behind that photo.
When we moved in, the garden was completely wild. Tall grass, weeds everywhere, no structure, no colour, no calm. It was a blank canvas, but it definitely wasn’t pretty. What you see on Google Maps is simply the “before” — the very start of our journey.
Since then, we’ve put in a huge amount of work. Weekends spent clearing, cutting back, digging, levelling, planting, edging, and slowly bringing the space back to life. Every improvement felt like a step forward, and every part of the garden started to show its potential.
And then came the lawn.
If you know me, you know I’m OTT about my lawn. I love it. The stripes, the neat edges, the colour — it’s become something I genuinely enjoy working on. It’s peaceful, satisfying, and it reflects the care and attention I bring to my therapy practice.
Today, the garden is one of my favourite places. It’s calm, tidy, colourful, and welcoming. It’s a space I’m proud to invite clients into — a true reflection of the environment you can expect when you visit Lancashire Bowen Therapy.
So if you ever see that old Google Maps image, just know this:
It’s not who we are.
It’s not what our home looks like now.
And it’s definitely not the experience you’ll have when you arrive.
This first 8 months has just been the outside changes. The actual clinic....... well watch this space...... its still loading. 😏
P.s. anyone doing cuttings or splitting plants donations would be more than welcome, there are alot of beds to fill.
I look forward to welcoming all new clients and sharing the changes over the coming months.
