So, today the children had the opportunity to adopt their very own dog. The children understand that they are adopting a rescue dog like the ones they work with in school and that they have to care for their dog like they care for Greta, Angus, Lottie and the team.
Staff really support this activity and help by taking pictures of the children's dogs throughout the school week. The children are also encouraged to write short stories of what their dogs have been up to each week in school. It's fabulous to see children walking around school with their adopted dog.

A very happy gotcha day to the very gentle and loving Friday. Friday is one of the regular therapy team members and really enjoys working with the children.
Friday settled in so well with the gang and loves a cuddle with Greta and Chester.
A huge thank you to Joey Awe and Many Tears Rescue for supporting Friday and the work that you do.
Another rescue dog and another success story.
Please support rescue.

Another amazing week in school with the gang and again we have had the joy of sharing some really special moments between the children and the dogs. Here is Lottie enjoying a moment of calm and relaxation with one of the children. She could fall asleep and the ball would still remain own her mouth.!!

Angus is 14 years of age now and has worked in schools with me for 7 years. Angus is our first rescue from Cyprus and such a special boy.

Angus is semi- retired now but the children were thrilled to meet him and spend time with him this morning.
