It’s hard to believe I’ve been in practice for a whole decade already! In that time I have worked alongside some amazing people and have seen their courage every single day. Thank you to everyone who has supported my business and have trusted me in the last 10 years..I love this work and all that it brings ❤️

I'm a fully accredited and qualified member of the British Acupuncture Council, the regulatory body for traditional acupuncturists in the UK. They require that we qualify to degree level - studying Chinese medicine theory, western biomedicine, philosophy aswell as clinical skills and many hours of supervised clinical practice!

🎉 Huge news for the acupuncture community! 💫

The four-month blood donation deferral following an acupuncture treatment is being removed, provided the treatment was carried out by a fully qualified and registered practitioner.

This is a significant and welcome recognition of the high standards of safety and professionalism that qualified acupuncturists uphold every day. It also means more people who receive acupuncture may now be eligible to donate blood, helping to strengthen the UK's blood supply 🩸

Yesterday I worked my last clinic Caitlin Allen - Acupuncture For Health And Wellbeing 🥹 I first went to see Caitlin for fertility acupuncture 19 years ago! My experience inspired a huge career change and to go and study an Acupuncture degree so you can imagine how happy I was to be offered a job working there when I first qualified ❤️ 10 years and hundreds of clients later I’m now going to finally focus full time on my own clinic (which is also very nearly 10 years old!).

It’s hard to put into words how truly grateful I am for Caitlin..for all her love, support and guidance over the years. I honestly don’t know where I’d be without her. Her clinic is a really special place 🌟

So..thank you dear Caitlin and all the really wonderful people I’ve met and worked with❤️

My diary now has some wiggle room..I’m available Monday-Friday now here in Cleckheaton. Get in touch to book in 😊

Nothing changes in my Cleckheaton clinic except I’m working an extra day on Thursday. I’m now here Monday to Friday.

The only change is that I’m no longer working in Leeds at Caitlin’s clinic on Thursdays.

I’m back in work after a much needed break in the sunshine🌞 I’ll be catching up on all my messages today. Clinic is very busy so please plan ahead with your appointments. From next week I will be here everyday including Thursdays 😊

Today is World IVF Day, and it always feels especially meaningful to me.

Not only am I incredibly grateful to science for giving me my beautiful girls, but there’s another lovely connection. Louise Brown, the world’s first IVF baby, was born on my 5th birthday!

It also feels close to home knowing that Sir Robert Edwards, one of the pioneers of IVF, was born in Batley, my hometown. I remember meeting his grandaughter when my girls were tiny when they unveiled a plaque in his honour in Batley park. His work, alongside Patrick Steptoe, changed the world and made so many families possible.

Every day I’m reminded that IVF is about so much more than science - it’s about hope, resilience, and the dream of becoming a parent.

I’m also privileged to support women on their fertility journeys through acupuncture, and it is one of the greatest joys to celebrate the babies that arrive after so much courage and determination.

Today I’m thinking of the pioneers, the clinicians, the researchers, the families who are still waiting and every IVF miracle. And I’m especially thankful for my own two miracles. 💕✨

Happy World IVF Day to everyone whose story has been touched by fertility treatment. Your journey matters, and so does your hope. 💚
