These photos reflect so much more than a business photoshoot
They reflect a little girl who spent years believing perfection was the goal. Yet no matter what I achieved, I never felt good enough
They reflect a midwifery career that I was incredibly proud of, helping women through the most important moments of their lives. But deep down, I always felt there was something missing. A part of me wanted more growth, more challenge, and the opportunity to build something of my own.
Fast forward to today, and I’m continuing to build my own aesthetics business.
No business degree.
No business experience.
No roadmap.
Just a vision, determination, resilience, and a willingness to learn every single day.
And if I’m honest, there are still moments when I think, “What am I doing?”
The long hours.
The pressure.
The responsibility.
The self-doubt.
But then I remind myself how far I’ve come.
From constantly questioning my worth - to building something that is entirely my own.
Most importantly, I remind myself why I’m doing it.
To show my children & the little girl in me that dreams are worth chasing.
To show them that you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.
One of the greatest gifts this journey has given me is the people I’ve met along the way.
Who remind you daily that you are worthy and you’re doing an incredible job.
I’m grateful for the friends I’ve made within this industry. Women who are building businesses themselves but still make time to support, encourage and champion one another.
No competition.
No jealousy.
Just genuine support.
Being invited to Malta recently lit a fire in me. It reminded me there is still so much more to achieve, learn and experience through collaboration and growth within aesthetics.
I will never know it all, and I never want to become complacent. This industry is filled with incredible practitioners, whom I hope to keep learning from throughout my entire career
So on the stressful days, when I’m exhausted and wondering if I can keep going, I’ll remind myself how far I’ve come.
This is only the beginning.
More growth, more drive, more collaboration.
More exciting things ahead.
