Not a picture of a beautiful ear curation but today is an exciting day for me! 12 months of paying for this vital piece of kit and it’s now mine!!! This is an Autoclave machine and is what is used for the essential process of sterilisation, for both tools and jewellery and is worth quite a few pennies. Piercing is not just needles and jewellery and we have to factor in sterilisation, tools, disposable gloves, sheeting, wipes, rates, waste collections, the list goes on and it all adds up. I try to keep my prices very affordable but let’s not forget about the little things we don’t see behind the scenes. Celebrating one year ago today that I pierced my very first ear and began planning how to open New Era Piercing! And I LOVE IT!!! For me it’s not necessarily doing the piercing, it’s the jewellery, the endless curations and the wonderful people I get to work with on a daily basis! I have since qualified in Dermal’s and very excited to start my advanced training in May this year to take me onto the next chapter! New Era wouldn’t have happened with out many people, but three in particular, my very patient husband, my not so patient Dad 😂 and Thank you and thank you to all my clients I have had the pleasure to pierce so far, let’s see what the next 12 months brings!
