Schoooools out for summer!!! Well not quite for my little Theo but for the one day on Monday he has left at school he’s had his first piercing at New Era 😍 For children the timing is now perfect, 6 weeks for healing so they are ready to take in and out ready for their return to school. But please be warned, although you can take earrings out by that time they do still stand a chance of healing over if something isn’t put back in on a regular basis so please make sure you keep a good routine putting something back in! Not a picture of a beautiful ear curation but today is an exciting day for me! 12 months of paying for this vital piece of kit and it’s now mine!!! This is an Autoclave machine and is what is used for the essential process of sterilisation, for both tools and jewellery and is worth quite a few pennies. Piercing is not just needles and jewellery and we have to factor in sterilisation, tools, disposable gloves, sheeting, wipes, rates, waste collections, the list goes on and it all adds up. I try to keep my prices very affordable but let’s not forget about the little things we don’t see behind the scenes.
