This is Christina McCusker and her beautiful children. Christina is one of the most committed members of An Clogher Éire Ógs, everyone will recognise her from our tuck shop serving tea, coffee and treats alongside her Niece Ciara! ☕️ 🇶🇦

Additionally, Christina is a huge part of our Cultural committee, encouraging young people to participate in Scór Na nÓg and promoting the Irish Language! ☘️

On top of all of that Christina is a mother to Kylagh and youth players Cathaoir & Daithi! She is a local business owner on Clogher Main Street, working self employed as a hair dresser.

Christina has always cheered and supported our club and now it’s time we show her the same support 🫶🏼

At just 38 years old, life took a devastating and unexpected turn for Christina and her family.
At the beginning of the year Christina was diagnosed with a rare and highly aggressive Grade IV brain tumour.

This is news no one should have to hear.

📢❤️ Important Notice ❤️📢

For the last year or so, I guess when the realisation that next August im 40 🙈😩 lol, my thoughts have been focused on the direction of the salon, and how it fits in with my life, and my passion.

I have been open for 14years, and many years prior that working in salons, a spa and in Australia. With that being said I absolutely adore my career, but after alot of conversations, analysing, advice, putting feelers out there, I have come to the realisation that I am just spread to thin.

I cover alot of treatments in the salon, and have cut out a few put over the years, but with a busy lifestyle, no staff any more (and choosing to keep it this way) running a business and 4 kids, I am just exhausted.

My physical body from the massage, the emotional drain from holistic therapy. I dont want to loose the love for what I do, because I'm burnt out.

So I have made a hard decision, that may not be ideal for some, but I will be focusing only on the treatments I am passionate about, and that I find the most joy in.

This will be facials, massage, and holistic based treatments.

For current clients/long term clients I will cater all your waxing needs. You have always supported me and I will always look after you.

However please book this through me, as I will no longer be accepting new clients for waxing & once I implement the price change on the 1st July, it will not be bookable online

Tinting/smaller waxing ie facial & threading available as normal..

I have cut manicures from my menu, and I feel Pedicures also will go (tbc)

I will be limiting my energy healing work each week.

Behind the scenes, as they say! I have a hell of a lot going on in terms of the salon, all positive and I will share on due course.

I have a current waiting list and cancellation list in place as the salon is fully booked until August.

Thanks for reading, and I hope this sits well with my clients. I appreciate each and every one of you, and the support you give. Im Just ready to put 110% into my passion, cut out all the other noise, and nieche down to what I absolutely find joy in.

I normally never post client photos, I hate to even ask for them, but since this client is my sister Rebecca 😜, she was happy to share pictures.
