What can yoga do for you? What’s the point??
Yoga is a practice of movement, breathing, mindfulness and rest. It’s so much more than a fitness class. Don’t come to yoga to exercise. Don’t come to yoga to get fit or lose weight or tone up. These things might happen for you, but they’re not the goal.
Come to yoga to feel calmer.

Come when you feel disconnected to your body and mind - when your thoughts are busy and your shoulders are tense.
Come when you’re feeling good or when you want to feel good! Yoga boosts serotonin and all those lovely feel good chemicals in our bodies.
Yoga can guide you to be more mindful and present, not just in class but in your daily life.
Yoga supports our nervous systems, helping us come out of the constant state of unease, fight/flight and feeling on edge. It gives us the tools to work on ourselves every day.
