This week is Glaucoma Awareness week.....

Often called 'The silent thief of sight.' It's the leading cause of irreversible blindness.

The condition usually shows no warning signs, this week we are emphasising the critical need for regular comprehensive eye exams to catch damage to the optic nerve early.

If you're living with Glaucoma we need you to encourage your family to attend eye examinations every 2 yrs.

Glaucoma CAN be treated. The earlier it is detected, the more successful the treatment is likely to be in controlling it and preventing sight loss.

If you have a close family member with Glaucoma you may even be entitled to a free NHS test.
