Learning to trick the brain into relaxing those muscles alongside using your diaphragm, ribs and back muscles more fully are key elements in solving back pain.Try this: lie down with you knees bent. Place a hand on your ribs and as you breathe in, feel them expand as well as your back muscles. As you breathe out, feel the rib cage and back muscles relax.
