Oh Hello October πŸ‚

Loving the sunny weather we're still having... but cosy season is definitely on the way.

Chilly mornings, dark evenings, and crispy leaves have arrived.

The diary is really filling up as you all start to slow down and recharge after a busy summer.

I've had to turn a few clients away over the last couple of weeks because I can't offer a time that works for them (which I hate doing!) So please try and plan in your appointments where possible to avoid disapointment.

Setting aside time for you is really important.

Make sure you're not at the bottom of your own 'to do' list.

Why Reflexology?

Reflexology is an ancient, holistic, complimentary therapy usually carried out on the feet and hands.

It is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that encourages the flow of energy around the body, removing blockages, and putting us into a state of rest and recovery.

The theory behind Reflexology is that there are reflex points on our feet and hands that reflect the structure of the body, and our emotional health.

By massaging these points in a sequence, and applying various levels of pressure, it encourages the body to balance and heal itself the natural way.

Some of the benefits of regular treatments include improving sleep, reducing stress and anxiety, managing mood, and releasing tension. Its also great for relaxation and allowing yourself to rest on purpose.

Reflexology isn't about diagnosing health problems or offering a cure, but its an excellent way to treat the symptoms of our busy lives.

All you have to lose is your socks 🧦

Reflexology for Self Care

Making time to take care of yourself is so important.

Most of us have busy lives these days... whether that be a demanding career, looking after children, taking care of friends and relatives - or a combination of all of these!

Whatever your circumstances, if you don't look after yourself, it will take its toll and impact your ability to keep all the plates spinning.

Reflexology can help:

πŸ‘£ Aid sleep
πŸ‘£ Release tension
πŸ‘£ Improve mood
πŸ‘£ Support wellbeing
πŸ‘£ Relaxation

If you are interested in adding reflexology to your self care routine, please get in touch to find out more.

Who is Reflexology for?

Other than a small handful of medical conditions, Reflexology is suitable for everyone, making it a great way to support your Holistic Health.

Existing medical conditions and life style choices are always discussed prior to each treatment to ensure your session is adapted if necessary.

The second slide shows some of the people I have treated in the last week.

So Reflexology is for almost everyone!

Reflexology for Children

Working with children has become a big part of what I do.

It wasn't intentional, and I continue to be as surprised as the parents when I see the positive changes week to week.

Some of the things we work on together are:

πŸ‘£ Improving Sleep
πŸ‘£ Managing Emotions
πŸ‘£ Learning to Relax
πŸ‘£ Coping with Stress & Anxiety
πŸ‘£ Balancing Hormones

If you think Reflexology may help your child, please get in touch with any questions you have.

What is Reflexology anyway?

Rooted in ancient healing traditions, foot and hand work have been practiced for thousands of years.

A Reflexology treatment involves careful, focused work on the feet or hands, working on the principle that specific points (reflexes) correspond to different areas of the body.

By massaging and applying gentle pressure to those points, the body is encouraged to relax, balance, and heal itself.

If you haven't had Reflexology before and are keen to try, contact me today Tara Rasor | Holistic Therapist | Colchester, Essex to book πŸ‘£

Happy World Reflexology Week πŸ‘£

A whole week to celebrate all things Reflexology!

I am super busy this week which I am very grateful for as always. But I'll do my best to share some information on here about Reflexology that you may not know, and try to dispell some myths...

I may even do a little giveaway at the end of the week so keep your eyes peeled πŸ‘€
