💛 SEND Easter Funday Announcement 💛

Join Us at The Angel Centre SEND Easter Family Event! 🫶🏽

Join us at The Angel Centre in Colchester for a welcoming SEND Easter family event, created for children who benefit from a calmer, more inclusive environment. Each session is limited to 6 families to keep things relaxed and supportive, with siblings and carers very welcome. ✨

Families can enjoy an Easter egg hunt, plus sensory gym activities and games designed to encourage movement, play and confidence at your child’s pace. There’ll also be a sensory room to explore, offering a quieter space for curious minds and sensory regulation. 🐣

Alongside the active fun, we’ll have an arts and crafts area for creative Easter makes, and a coffee area for parents and carers to take a breather, chat, and recharge.
Come along for a friendly, family-focused Easter session where everyone can join in comfortably. 💛

💙 End of an Era 💙

This week marked the end of an era for Making Fitness Accessible CIC as our Holton St Mary, Therapy Gym and Sensory Gym closed due to the end of its lease. ✨

This is where it all started for our community interest company, supporting over 500 adults and children with disabilities and long-term health conditions to access achievable exercise throughout our stay!
As an organisation we have got stronger with the launch of both of the Sudbury Therapy Gym and the Angel Centre Therapy Gym and Sensory Gym, where 80% of our current Holton members have moved on to. The remainder have been supported to find local gyms to continue their participation and fitness journey. 🫶🏽

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members and supporters who have been with us on our journey and we look forward to continuing with making fitness truly accessible for our community. 🤍
