Feeling tired all the time isn’t always due to the demands of life or just ‘getting older’.
Many people I speak to are taking an iron tablet because they feel like their energy is low.
While iron deficiency can absolutely contribute to fatigue, there are many other reasons why your energy may be low - from poor sleep and blood sugar imbalances to stress, digestion, thyroid health and nutrient absorption.
And taking iron supplements ‘just in case’ may not always be the right approach.
