On Tuesday, our Mobile Unit visited Trafford General Hospital in Manchester, where our trainer spent an incredible day working with the team and delivering the Virtual Dementia Tour experience.

We’ve received some fantastic feedback from those who took part, with many describing the experience as eye-opening and impactful.

A huge well done to all of our trainers, who continue to work tirelessly to give people a greater understanding of dementia and the hidden challenges faced every day by those living with the condition. It’s only when we begin to walk in their shoes that we truly start to understand the importance of empathy, patience, and person-centred care.

Today, one of our mobile units is kicking off Dementia Week in Oxford with a visit to Eleanor Care Group. 💙

We’re proud to be out in the community supporting awareness, connection, and conversations around dementia care. Every visit is an opportunity to make a difference — whether through support, education, or simply being there for those who need it most.

A huge thank you to the team at Eleanor Care for the warm welcome and for the incredible work they do every day supporting individuals and families affected by dementia.

Here’s to a week focused on compassion, understanding, and community.

18/05/2026

As Dementia Week begins, we stand with everyone affected by dementia — those living with it, their families, friends, carers, and communities.

This week is about understanding, compassion, and action. A conversation, a little patience, or simply taking time to listen can make a huge difference to someone navigating dementia every day.

Let’s continue to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and support research, care, and inclusion for all. 💙

No one should face dementia alone.
