When we slow down, the magic happens β¨οΈ π
We create space for restoration, healing, awareness, connection, joy and meaning. Sometimes it can bring us up against some uncomfortable stuff, sometimes it can be exciting, or sometimes it's subtle or seemingly mundane π
Last week I stayed at the tranquil Treyhill Farm in Devon with my little fam. Surrounded by beautiful views of rolling hills, slow mornings and stunning sunsets, with some fun afternoon adventures in between.
My daughter loved climbing the trees and interacting with all the animals. Enjoying life's simple pleasures. Time spent in nature really revitalizes us as a family, and we came home feeling more connected to what we really value.
When life gets busy again, and we don't necessarily have our 'perfect' conditions all of the time, it's easy to forget what really matters.
But having small, intentional daily rituals can help us stay connected. Time to pause and come back to ourselves. This will look different for everyone, depending on routines, interests, conditions and individual needs.
For me currently, it's a quiet early morning tea followed by a short meditation or breathework, and some intuitive movement/ yoga flow. Preferably before my daughter wakes. But I'll include her into the practice if she does. If I'm lucky, a short evening practice too. But once a day is currently a non-negotiable. It's good to share that for accountability too π
Feel free to share yours in the comments, or simply reflect with intention for yourself. However you choose, value your time, and trust in the ripple effect π±
