You wont find the traditional Christmas decor at my house. This year… or any. The rituals we perform demonstrate our intentions, do we really think christmas should be a time for consumption and consumerism? Or could we make it a time to love each other outwardly with gestures of affection, give our time and energy to those who have less, reap the benefits of our autumn harvest and gift our loved ones from the heart whilst leaning back deeply into ourselves? Last year was face cream, this year im trying my hand at making herbal teas, mostly from weeds and berries that grow freely in the countryside around me. And i hope that we all thrive like these incredible plants in the coming year.

In cranio sacral therapy we work into a state of relaxation and start to move our consciousness into a lighter, maliable, fluid shape through focusing exercises in the body. This engages and works with the autonomic nervous system to start encouraging the nervous system to regulate. Often having profound results.

This week. Woaw have you gave me a run for my money. So im supposed to be relaxed right now! I was on holiday guys and it was great. But life has hit me in full force since i’ve been home, and i’ll admit, I’ve really struggled to keep my head above water. So what did i do to stay afloat? As us cranio sacral therapists like to say I resourced. Steadying myself through my nervous system in daily little practices that I’ve found really work for me. And the truth is, it’s not always easy to tend to yourself when the world keeps pulling you in a hundred directions. But this week reminded me that I’m allowed to be my own anchor. That resourcing myself isn’t selfish—it’s foundational.
If you’re feeling stretched thin or untethered, I hope you remember this too: you don’t have to wait for the perfect moment to take care of yourself. Start with one breath, one boundary, one kind choice. It counts. You count.

We don’t need to be extraordinary to be deeply resourced. We just need to keep gently coming home to ourselves.

Roast almonds for ten minutes and blend until the end of time. My blender hates me but it tastes so good! This jar cost about £3 to make.
