A lovely few hours exploring the city of Kalamata today, which happens to be on the opposite side of the mountain to my hotel.
It was an interesting bus ride ( & my first for about 30 years) and I couldn’t help but replay the Italian job over and over in my head; as the non speaking driver ( he communicated through nods and grunts only ) navigated the tightest of mountain corners one handed ( his other hand was busy holding his v**e to his mouth 😳)
Suffice to say, I’m relieved to be back at the beach on safe sand ⛱️
