🎀💗 Wear It Pink Day! 💗🎀

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Wear It Pink Day and supported our cake sale! 🌸🧁

We came together to wear pink, enjoy some delicious treats and, most importantly, raise awareness of breast cancer and show our support for everyone affected by it. 💕🎀

Breast cancer awareness is so important. By coming together, we can help spread awareness, encourage people to be breast aware, and show support for those living with breast cancer, their families and loved ones. 🩷

A big thank you to everyone who wore pink, baked or donated cakes, and supported our event.🧁

🏡 Help people access practical support with everyday challenges
🤝 Link patients with voluntary organisations and local services
🌸 Encourage people to build confidence, independence and social connections

💚 World Mental Health Day | 10 October

Today is a reminder that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health.

Life can feel overwhelming sometimes. You might be struggling with anxiety, feeling low, feeling lonely, or simply finding things harder than usual. You don’t have to deal with it on your own.

💬 Talk to someone you trust.
🤝 Check in on a friend or loved one.
🌿 Take a moment for yourself.

High-quality care matters for people living with Crohn’s and Colitis 💜

The IBD Standards set out what good care should look like for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), helping to ensure patients receive the right support at the right time 💬

This includes access to specialist teams, timely diagnosis, ongoing monitoring, and support for both physical and mental wellbeing 🤝

By raising awareness of these standards, we can help empower patients to understand what care they should expect and improve outcomes for everyone

𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 is a great opportunity to quit smoking and start feeling the benefits of a smoke-free life. 🚭💙

Giving up smoking is one of the best things you can do for your health. From the moment you stop, your body begins to recover, and over time you can reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, lung disease and many cancers. ❤️

Quitting can be challenging, but you don't have to rely on willpower alone. There is support available to help you manage cravings, choose suitable stop-smoking treatments and find practical ways to stay on track. 🤝

Taking part in Stoptober gives you the chance to join thousands of other people making a quit attempt this October. Even if you've tried before, don't be discouraged – every quit attempt can bring you closer to stopping for good. 🌟

You could also notice benefits such as breathing more easily, having more energy, improving your sense of taste and smell, and saving money. 💷

Make this October the month you take your first step towards becoming smoke-free. 🚭
