I know a lot of you will be seeing all the St Marie aux Mines Gem Show content that we're putting out on socials at the moment, which is why I knew that I had to have a very special set of Tuesday Specials lined up for tonight!
Believe it or not, I've actually been planning this collection for a while - these were all sourced in Tucson back in January, and I've been saving them for this week!
Tonight at 7pm over in the sales group we've got some incredible Tanzanian crystals ready for you all to browse through.
Tanzanite obviously plays a major part - it's one of my favourite crystals, and I've been looking for YEARS to source some more Pink Tanzanite. We last managed to get hold of some at our very first Tucson show back in 2020, and the quality of these new pieces is so much better! We've got terminated crystals, bi-colour pieces that show yellow and blue/purple, or yellow and pink, and a couple that even have shining Graphite crystal inclusions! Plus there is one very special, and very unusual Tanzanite cluster!
Although Tanzanite is the first crystal that comes to mind when we think of Tanzania (it is the named after the country, after all), there are actually a lot of gorgeous crystals and minerals that can be found there in excellent quality. We've also got some incredible Diopside crystals with the most beautiful yellow - green colour, Tsavorite Garnets and Chrome Tourmaline with it's super intense grass-green colour! Finishing off the Tanzanian collection nicely is a real oddity that Stu managed to find at Tucson - two incredible Tanzanian Prehnite rosette formations from the Merelani Hills which are highly sought after by collectors.
