We don't normally do many fossils on our lives, but I had to make an exception for these!
Stu's favourite fossil find from Tucson, these are Trilobite tracks! ðŸ˜ą Moroccan ones like these span dates between 350 - 445 million years ago, which is an awfully long time to leave footprints in the sand!

These will be available in our live on Tues evening âœĻ

Tonight's website update has lot's of exciting crystals including some amazing Phosphorescent Fluorite specimens âœĻ

These are a very new find Fluorite from December 2025 and come from the El Potosi Mine in Mexico. It has an unusual shape for Fluorite, and the current theory is that these may in fact be pseudomorphs after Calcite. They display not only fluorescence in longwave 365nm light, but also phosphorescence, which depending on the piece, can last several seconds after the UV light is turned off (this is best viewed in complete darkness).

Find these and much more over on the New Arrivals section of the website tonight (Friday) at 8.30pm âœĻ

ðŸĶī Fossil Friday: The One Where I Ran Out of Time...(Again ðŸŦĢ )

I've been a bit busy this week then we went crystal shopping yesterday, so unfortunately there wasn't time for a full Fossil Friday sketch. But while we've covered trilobites before, have you ever seen their footprints?

These are fossilised trilobite trackways, preserved in ancient seafloor sediments over 250 million years ago. They capture a moment in time when a trilobite wandered across the seabed, leaving behind a trail that somehow survived long enough to become stone.

âœĻ Fun fact: Fossilised trackways like these are known as trace fossils. Rather than preserving the animal itself, they preserve evidence of its behaviour. These types of fossils are super rare and important.

We'll have a few of these amazing trackways available in Tuesday's live sale, so if you'd like to see them up close, join us on TT at 7pm! ðŸ‘Ģ

We have some many beauties lined up for tomorrow's website update including some amazing rare Kutnohorite specimens from a new find in Chihuahua, Mexico âœĻ

Kutnohorite is a rare carbonate mineral that takes its name from the place in the Czech Republic where it was first discovered in 1901 - Kutna Hora. The best specimens in the world are found in the Kalahari Manganese Field in South Africa.

Find this and more on the New Arrivals section of the website tomorrow at 8.30pm âœĻâœĻ

They say it's what's on the inside that counts - but it's nice if the outside is pretty too! 😆 We've spent the morning hanging some lovely hanging baskets on the front of our building to jazz the place up a bit! 😍
