It dances as she moves, curls along the rhythm of her muscles,
opening and closing like a secret between her and the divine.

It is no longer something on her body —

An oracle of movement,

This abstract tribal Polynesian-inspired osprey pushed me out of my realism comfort zone—and I’m so glad it did!

It was a pleasure to design and ink this piece, tuning into and honouring the osprey’s spirit of focus, freedom, and higher vision. Black lines for strength, blue for sky and spirit.

In certain places, the single thread unfurls —
splitting softly into three, like strands of rope revealing their weave.

When she twists, they open; when she stills, they close.
A living nod to the practice of sh***ri — the sacred art of surrender, of trust, of tension as tenderness.

These openings are thresholds —
reminders that in binding, we find presence;
in release, we find expansion.

We listened — not to logic, but to rhythm.
The red line did not want to be drawn; it wanted to emerge.
With each breath, the body revealed where it longed to be traced —
a communion between ink, skin, and soul.

Before the ink, there was devotion.
Hours spent tracing invisible pathways across her skin —
asking, where do you wish to be seen?
We mapped, erased, dreamed, and returned again — each mark a small act of reverence.

Together we discovered the architecture of her story:
a body as landscape, a thread as river,
flowing through the valleys and edges she calls home.

Heart of Transformation 🌀

The dragonfly rests between two spiraling koru ferns — each unfurling inward, meeting at the center to form a heart.
A symbol of renewal, transformation, and the eternal dance between growth and love.

The dragonfly, born of water and risen to air, carries the wisdom of metamorphosis —
a reminder to move lightly through change,
to let illusion fall away,
to live from the shimmer of truth beneath the surface.

The koru spiral, drawn from the unfurling fern frond, holds the energy of new beginnings —
the quiet, sacred moment of unfolding,
the return to harmony and balance with all living things.

Together, they speak of becoming —
of love that evolves,
of hearts that open again and again,
of the endless renewal that is life itself.

Post 2 of 7 — Listening to Lineage 🌹

In the stillness, we listened for the ancestors.
Each curve, each turn of the red line became a conversation —
a remembering of the hands that once wove, healed, and held.
Through her, they move again. Through her, the red thread continues.

🩸
This line is not simply a mark — it is an invocation.
A reweaving of what was frayed.
A soft, steady reclaiming of the feminine through form and flesh.
