First, a little crystal honesty… 💎

Crystals don't control you, predict what will happen or have good evidence showing they can cure medical conditions. I see crystal work as something much more personal — interacting with the stone, its symbolism and the intention or energy you associate with it.

And today we're looking at SUNSTONE. ☀️🧡

🌿 AROMATHERAPY SPOTLIGHT — WHY IS HO WOOD IN MY KIT?

If you love a soft, woody aroma with a slightly floral sweetness, Ho Wood is gorgeous. 🤍

Rich in linalool, Ho Wood is an oil I might reach for when you're telling me:

😮‍💨 “I just need to switch off.”
🧠 “My head won't stop.”
😴 “I'm exhausted but struggling to relax.”
🌿 “I want to feel calmer and more grounded.”

In aromatherapy, Ho Wood is valued for its calming, soothing aroma and is often used in blends designed for relaxation and emotional wellbeing.

💆‍♀️ “I ache because I sit at a desk all day.”
“It’s because I drive for a living.”
“I’m self-employed — I never stop!”

I hear this ALL the time.

But sometimes those aches are your body’s way of saying:

I’M EXHAUSTED. I NEED YOU TO SLOW DOWN. ❤️

And I know what comes next…

“But I don’t have time!”

When did rest become something we only allow ourselves when everything else is finished?

If your body spends most of its time rushing, working and worrying, slowing down can actually feel difficult. Rest is something we sometimes have to practise.

I’ve just replanned my own self-care too — Reiki, breathing, journalling and yoga. But I DON’T try to cram it into one perfect routine! 😂 I break little moments throughout my day because we’re all juggling work, families, partners and LIFE.

🌧️🌹 SOULFUL SUNDAY — LET IT RAIN!

Ohhh how I’ve missed this glorious rain! 😂🌧️

My poor rose plants have been waiting for a proper drink, and today my garden feels like it can finally breathe again.

There’s something so peaceful about rain…

🌧️ Cleansing
💧 Purifying
🌿 Nourishing the earth
🌹 Bringing my roses back to life
🤍 And that gorgeous fresh smell afterwards!

When I’m at home, my garden is my happy place. Pottering around my plants, watching things grow and listening to the rain is my kind of grounding.
Sometimes self-care isn't a treatment or a spa day. Sometimes it's simply finding the place where your mind becomes quiet.
