Massive thank you Cambridge...

That was needed last night..

Packed to the rafters from start to finish..

Max Bianco & The BlueHearts what a six six debut such an incredible performance!! That took me back to the glory days watching The Libertines in small sweaty venues in London..

To quote one of the libs lyrics
"When you've lost you faith in love and music the end won't be long"

That felt so appropriate last night..

Thank you to my great friends who I have had the pleasure of working with since early in my career and theirs Taxi Joe. Its great to see them back performing live and they absolutely blew the roof off last night with a whole new fan base

Coves The Band and Undercover Pangolin that without doubt one of the most impressive opening performances I can remember..both of these bands are future headliners at the six six and have big futures ahead of them..

It's nights like these we see just how important our Generation NeXt brand is for new and emerging talent coming into the city..

Little message from AdamO

As we fast approach our first year and looking back at all the amazing bands we have booked and continue to book I have to say I've had so much enjoyment booking bands with creative freedom.

Building the right show based on musical talent. Scouting bands for hours across social media to make sure every show works for the venue and the artist.

Every week is a commitment and a risk as we have most weeks bands from all over the UK coming into Cambridge to play a show

I can only book with this freedom as we are getting to a point that you the public ARE coming out and checking out new music

In the modern age pre sale is fundamentally non existent and as a non pay to play venue our success and the artists experience is COMPLETELY down to you.

So thank you Cambridge, there was a point in my life I genuinely thought I'd never return to music , let alone booking and promoting and now we have a venue.

The last year has been the greatest of my life with the birth of my son and a business I only ever day dreamed about the stress and workload is sometimes overwhelming but right here , right now I have everything I ever dreamed of.

Thank you Cambridge The support has been beautiful

Our commitment will always be to bringing new music week in week out..

Thank you so much to everyone who came to Club 85 last night, it was a fantastic night, well done to all the competing bands!
