This audio couldn’t explain it better.

This trip has been more than I ever imagined it would be in so many ways. There have definitely been ups and downs… But more than anything it’s given me the space to reconnect with what matters to me, what’s important, what I believe in and where I want to put my energy.

Very grateful to experience this.

Something I’ve been thinking about a lot...

I still can’t believe I love running. I used to hate it.

I was forced to do it at school, I grew up with painful joints (which I now know were probably linked to hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome), and it’s taken me 32 years to genuinely enjoy it.

I also used to exercise as a way to punish myself or to earn my food. Now I move for a completely different reason. I want a strong, capable body to take me through life, and I’m grateful that I have a body that can do the things it can.

These days I don’t run just for my physical health. I run because it keeps me sane. It helps me process my thoughts and organise the noise in my head. It helps me build mental resilience and confidence in myself by reminding me that I am strong and capable and that I can do hard things. Even if my runs are hard I never regret them.

And I’m not saying that everyone should run.

If you don’t like running, don’t run. If cycling isn’t your thing, don’t cycle. If you hate swimming, don’t swim.

But find a form of movement that makes you feel good. The one that clears your mind, supports your body and builds your confidence.

Move for your body, yes. But don’t underestimate what movement can do for your mind.

Because the best form of exercise isn’t the one everyone else is doing - it’s the one you’ll keep coming back to and makes you feel good.

Part 1: Our Home 🏡🐾

The first in our video series introduces Reema, her incredible rescue dogs (or, as she lovingly calls them, her “kids”), and the place they currently call home - a rented factory building in Jodhpur, India.

Reema lives here full-time, dedicating her life to rescuing, rehabilitating and caring for dogs who have nowhere else to go. She is their rescuer, carer and family, providing love, safety and hope every single day.

There are currently 80–90 dogs in her care, each with their own story, and every one relying on Reema’s unwavering commitment.

While this rented space has given them a roof over their heads, it’s far from ideal. We’re desperately searching for a permanent home where the dogs can be safe and secure for years to come. We may have found the perfect place but we need your help to make it a reality.

Every donation, every share and every bit of support brings us one step closer to giving these dogs the forever home they deserve. ❤️🐕
