Yesterday definately reminded me how quickly overthinking and nervous system overwhelm can creep in when we’re already tired, hormonal or carrying too much.

Being aware of the emotions, the narratives but rather than going to battle with them, we found our centre and get back into our bodies 🤍

Over the last 11 years, I’ve made some really big changes in my life. Changes that, quite honestly, felt terrifying at the time and nearly stopped me in my tracks more than once.

Yet those decisions have led me to extraordinary growth, beautiful new beginnings and a life that feels more aligned than I could ever have imagined.

Every single day, I feel proud of myself for being brave enough to choose differently.

Because here’s the thing… making change, whether big or small, is never easy. It comes up with almost every woman I work with.

So many of us are waiting for the “right time” before we make the move, take the leap, start the business, leave the relationship, book the trip, try the thing, choose ourselves.

But the truth is… there is never a perfect time.

There is only time, and what we choose to do with the time we are gifted.

One of the biggest things I wish to offer women through this work is the understanding that your life doesn’t need to stay on pause while you wait for certainty. This beautiful chapter of midlife isn’t about shrinking, waiting, or simply watching life happen around you.

It’s about asking yourself:“What do I want my life to look and feel like?”
“What am I done waiting for?”
“What would happen if I trusted those quiet intuitive nudges?”

Maybe now is the time to feel the fear and do it anyway.

Perhaps it’s not what you imagined you’d want at this stage of your life, and maybe that’s why you’ve been questioning it. But you don’t need to have it all figured out before you begin. Sometimes we simply have to try. Sometimes things won’t work out the way we hoped… but sometimes they turn out to be far beyond anything we could have imagined for ourselves.

No one else is going to magically appear and make the changes your soul is quietly asking for.

That person is you.

You just have to begin… and trust that what’s meant for you won’t pass you by💛✨

Last week I spoke about gifting ourselves time… creating space, slowing things down, allowing ourselves to reconnect.

This week, I keep coming back to something that sits just underneath that.

The resistance, because if you’re honest… you already know what you need.

More space, more time for yourself. A moment to breathe, to think, to just be.

Yet something stops you, something you don’t really understand, it’s that quiet resistance that holds you back…

“I’ll do it later.” “I don’t have time.” “It’s not important right now.”

I see this so often, and trust me, I feel it too.

The moments we need space the most are usually the moments we resist it the most.

Not because we don’t want it but because slowing down can feel unfamiliar. Sometimes it actually feels really scary! Your body screams at you it ‘I can’t do it’

When you’ve been holding a lot, moving quickly, keeping everything going… your body doesn’t just switch off.
It stays alert.Ready. On.

So creating space feels really alien, and this means it isn’t just about making time…it’s about helping your nervous system feel safe enough to soften.

That starts much smaller than we think.
A breath. A pause. A moment of awareness, not forcing it, not getting it “right”.

Just making a start, committing to making a small change everyday

If something in you is feeling this… trust that.
That’s usually where the shift begins.

As some of you know , I gifted myself a solo trip to Seville last week… the effects of those four days are still rippling through me. It was a massive reset for me, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually✨

When you take time to slow down, you begin to hear your body again. You feel a deeper connection to your intuition , your inner knowing.

You begin to trust what you feel, rather than over riding it. You start to listen to those quieter nudges , instead of pushing past them.

Carving out time for myself, listening, slowing down but not only that spending 2 days with other 3 amazing women who saw me, championed me, listened to me, reflected back at me was really quite special.

There’s something really powerful about being around women who get you … you hear parts of your own story reflected back in someone else’s. You realise you’re not the only one feeling it.

Reminding me how we all need to find our tribe, our village again … because when we do, that’s when something really magical happens ✨✨✨
