Did you know the pharmacy now provides the SORE THROAT TEST AND SERVICE? Our pharmacist can assess your symptoms and provide a test if necessary for Strep A. If you are positive antibiotics can be given without the need to see a GP and help for pain relief. Please note this service is only available for over the age of 6 years old.

Allergic rhinitis is very common and at this time of year the tree pollen is very high, if you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed below then please feel free to call into branch and speak with a member of staff, our pharmacist can offer advice and if needed provide treatment under the Common Ailments Scheme which is funded by the NHS.

What Are the Symptoms of a Tree Pollen Allergy (Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis)?
~ Runny nose (also known as rhinorrhea - this is typically a clear, thin nasal discharge)
~ Stuffy nose (due to blockage or nasal congestion one of the most common and troublesome symptoms)
~ Postnasal drip (mucus runs from the back of your nose down your throat)
~ Sneezing (can be repetitive and severe in some cases)
~ Itchy nose, eyes, ears, and mouth ~ Red and watery eyes ~ Swelling around the eyes ~ Tired ~ Disturbed sleep
