Since it was established in 2000, the Daisy Appeal has raised £12.5m to fund cutting-edge research and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities at our base within Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham, East Yorkshire. It’s hard to think of a family that has not been affected by cancer, heart disease, or dementia – and that’s why the Daisy Appeal is such an important local charity: because it benefits everyone.

The Jack Brignall PET-CT Centre is helping bring earlier, more accurate diagnosis closer to home.

Based at Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham, the centre provides vital PET-CT scans for patients across East Yorkshire, North East Lincolnshire and beyond.

If you - or someone you love - has had a scan at the Jack Brignall Centre, it is thanks to the Daisy Appeal and the generosity of our supporters. The centre was funded by the charity to help ensure people in our region can access advanced diagnostic imaging closer to home.

PET-CT scans play an important role in diagnosing and managing cancer, while supporting work in heart disease and dementia too.
