Calling all NCF members, we are pleased to announce the launch of our 2026 Social Care Reward, Pay Terms and Conditions Study and Personnel Survey. This year, we have combined the two studies into a single survey, which we are delivering with our new delivery partner Acuity Research & Practice Ltd, a specialist research and benchmarking organisation with more than 28 years’ experience💙

By taking part, you'll be contributing to one of the sector's most valuable benchmarking resources, helping to build a clearer picture of workforce pay, reward, and employment practices across the not-for-profit adult social care and support sector. Your contribution will help identify emerging trends, promote good practice, strengthen sector intelligence, and ensure the experiences of not-for-profit providers are reflected in the evidence that informs future workforce decisions.

Right to Work Checks are changing from 1 October 2026

The Home Office’s latest draft guidance extends Right to Work Checks beyond traditional employees to workers, individual subcontractors, agency workers and online matching services, bringing gig-economy roles into scope for the first time.

This World Alzheimer's Day we support our members in raising awareness about dementia💙

Dementia is the UK's biggest killer, every 3 minutes someone in the UK develops the condition and we know the enormous impact that it has on the lives of those who are living with it as well as their families, friends and carers. Together we must stand with the millions of people impacted by dementia and support the collective effort in raising awareness and beating dementia.

Our members Alzheimer's Society are campaigning to beat dementia and are leading the way to create a future where dementia no longer devastates lives, bringing together people from all the spheres of life it touches.
