What a great visit! ✨ We had a blast welcoming Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust Chief Medical Officer Richard Onyon to our TT service in Stratford-upon-Avon!

Richard's day involved meeting clinicians, touring the building and hearing about the work taking place across the locality. He also had the opportunity to launch our sensory baskets in this office (you can see him adding items to it!). These baskets help create a welcoming and supportive environment for both clients and staff.

Thank you, Richard, for taking the time to visit!πŸ’™

Are you feeling stuck in the same patterns in relationships or struggling with difficult emotions? πŸ’ If so, consider Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT).

DIT is one of the talking therapies that we offer that helps you understand how your relationships and past experiences may be affecting your mental wellbeing today.

By exploring these patterns, DIT can help you develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Check out how research is making improvements to mental health! ✨

Our CWPT Research Team worked with the Warwick Clinical Trials Unit on the P**A Trial, which explored whether a personalised online parenting programme could help reduce depression and anxiety in adolescents at high risk of affective disorders.

While the personalised programme did not reduce depressive symptoms, it did show positive improvements in parenting practices. πŸ˜‡

A potential win for young people who use social media???πŸ“±

Meta has agreed to introduce a range of new protections for young users, including screen time limits, overnight restrictions and enhanced parental controls, following a settlement in the US.

What does this mean for young people who use social media in the UK? Will there be a ripple effect?

Here are some tips to improve your mental health when using social media:
✨ Take regular screen breaks
✨ Limit social media before bed
✨ Turn off non-essential notifications
✨ Make time for offline activities you enjoy

YYEEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!! So glad to be a part of this Trust!!! Improvements are being done every day to ensure we are GOOD (yes, pun intended!) for our patients! πŸ₯°

We're proud to share that our Trust has once again been rated 'Good' for Well-Led by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The inspection highlighted our compassionate culture, visible leadership, strong partnerships and commitment to continuous improvement, with more than 1,000 colleagues trained in quality improvement methods.

β€œThese achievements belong to our staff, who continue to show such dedication, professionalism and care, often in incredibly challenging circumstances” – Mary Mumvuri, MBE, Chief Executive Officer

Thank you to all our staff whose commitment and care make this achievement possible.

πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Another successful !

We were joined by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust colleagues where we took part in the march, hung out with Old Leamingtonians Ladies & Girls Rugby, met members of the Sikh Union and even had time to work our promotional stall to meet locals!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand to say hello and learn more about our mental health service. We'll be ready to do this all again in 2027! πŸŽ‰
