🎉 New Qi Gong Short Now Available! 🎉

I'm pleased to share my latest Qi Gong video: Double Shoulder Roll - Full Version.

This flowing Qi Gong exercise combines shoulder circles with gentle rotation through the hips and torso to help relax and open the shoulder joints while releasing tension and encouraging greater mobility through the upper body.

In Qi Gong, coordinating the movement of the shoulders, hips, and torso helps create a smooth and natural flow through the body. As the arms circle in opposite directions, the gentle movement of the hips and torso allows the shoulders to move without forcing the joints. Keeping the movement comfortable and relaxed helps encourage the shoulders and hips to work together with greater ease and coordination.

One of the things I love most about this exercise is its simplicity. You don't need any previous Qi Gong experience—just a willingness to slow down, breathe naturally, and explore the practice with curiosity rather than trying to achieve perfection.

🌿 Does your back and neck ever feel stiff or tense after sitting for too long?

Our bodies are designed to move, but everyday habits can leave us feeling restricted and disconnected. Gentle, flowing Qi Gong movements can help restore a sense of ease and fluidity throughout the body.

The Wave is a flowing Qi Gong movement that begins by gently extending the chin forward, hinging from the waist, and then rolling smoothly back up through the spine in a wave-like motion.

Regular practice can help:

✨ Improve spinal mobility
✨ Release tension through the back and neck
✨ Enhance coordination
✨ Encourage smoother, more fluid movement
✨ Promote relaxation and body awareness

The key to The Wave is allowing the movement to flow rather than forcing it. Imagine the wave travelling gradually through your body, with each part of the spine moving naturally in sequence. Keep the movement gentle and comfortable, and allow your breathing to remain relaxed.

If you'd like to learn The Wave, I've created a short guided video that you can follow along with whenever you'd like to loosen up, reconnect with your body or add some gentle movement to your day.

🎉 New Qi Gong Short Now Available! 🎉

I'm pleased to share my latest Qi Gong video: Double Shoulder Roll – Basic Version.

This gentle Qi Gong exercise combines shoulder rotation, hip movement, and relaxation to help loosen and open the shoulder joints while encouraging smooth, flowing movement through the shoulders and upper body.

In Qi Gong, coordinating the movement of the shoulders and hips can help create a more natural and relaxed movement pattern. As one shoulder circles backwards and the other forwards, the gentle turn of the hips helps the movement flow through the body. Focusing on allowing the shoulders to drop and relax rather than forcing a large range of motion can help release built-up tension while promoting greater mobility and relaxation.

One of the things I love most about this exercise is its simplicity. You don't need any previous Qi Gong experience—just a willingness to slow down, breathe naturally, and explore the practice with curiosity rather than trying to achieve perfection.

🤍 Private Qi Gong Sessions – Learn at Your Own Pace 🤍

Group classes aren't the right fit for everyone—and that's absolutely okay.

If you'd prefer a quieter, more personalised experience, I offer private 1-to-1 and 1-to-2 Qi Gong sessions, giving you the time and space to learn in a way that feels comfortable and supportive.

Whether you're completely new to Qi Gong, managing stress, recovering from injury, looking to improve your mobility, or simply wanting to invest in your wellbeing, private sessions allow us to focus on your individual needs and goals.

Qi Gong is a gentle practice that combines mindful movement, breathing, and relaxation to help:
🌿 Reduce stress and anxiety
🌿 Improve balance, flexibility, and mobility
🌿 Increase energy and vitality
🌿 Release physical tension
🌿 Develop greater body awareness and a calmer, clearer mind

My approach to teaching is centred around curiosity rather than perfection. Instead of worrying about getting every movement "right", we'll explore how each exercise feels in your own body. I encourage a sense of play and experimentation, allowing you to discover what works best for you without pressure or judgement.

When we approach learning with curiosity, movement becomes more enjoyable, confidence grows naturally, and Qi Gong becomes something you can truly make your own.

💚 Private 1-hour session: £30
💚 Two people (1 hour): £40 (£20 each)

If you've been thinking about trying Qi Gong but feel nervous about joining a group, or you'd simply like a more tailored experience, a private session could be the perfect place to begin.

🌿 Do your lower back and legs ever feel stiff or tired after a long day?

Whether you've been sitting for hours, standing all day or simply feeling a little sluggish, gentle rhythmic movement can be a great way to reconnect with your body and bring some energy back into the lower body.

Qi Massage for the Lower Back & Legs is a simple Qi Gong self-massage using gentle tapping on the lower back, followed by patting down the outside of the legs and back up the inside. The rhythmic movement helps awaken the body while encouraging relaxation and circulation.

Regular practice can help:
✨ Release tension in the lower back and legs
✨ Improve circulation
✨ Reduce stiffness in the lower body
✨ Relax tight muscles
✨ Leave you feeling refreshed and energised

One of the beautiful qualities of this practice is its simplicity. The tapping and patting should feel comfortable and rhythmic rather than forceful. Allow your hands to stay relaxed and let the movement become a natural part of your breathing and body awareness.

If you'd like to learn Qi Massage for the Lower Back & Legs, I've created a short guided video that you can follow along with whenever you'd like to loosen up, refresh your body or add a little movement to your day.

🎉 New Qi Gong Short Now Available! 🎉

I'm pleased to share my latest Qi Gong video: Single Shoulder Roll Forward – Full Version.

This flowing Qi Gong exercise combines the movement of the arm, shoulder, and hip to help release tension and open up the shoulders and upper back while encouraging smoother, more relaxed movement through the upper body.

In Qi Gong, allowing the hip to lead the movement and using gravity to assist the arm can help the shoulder relax without forcing the movement. As the arm circles forwards and backwards, the combination of hip movement, shoulder rotation, and a relaxed arm creates a smooth, natural flow that can help loosen the shoulder and release built-up tension.

If the full arm movement isn't comfortable, the exercise can be modified by keeping the arm hanging down and simply circling the shoulder instead. As always, work within a comfortable range and avoid forcing the movement.

One of the things I love most about this exercise is its simplicity. You don't need any previous Qi Gong experience—just a willingness to slow down, breathe naturally, and explore the practice with curiosity rather than trying to achieve perfection.

🌿 What happens when a small change in hand position creates a completely different stretch?

Sometimes changing the position of the hands can alter how a familiar Qi Gong movement feels, creating a new way to explore mobility, strength and relaxation.

Spreading the Feathers (Yang Alternative) is a shoulder-height Yang variation where the fingertips touch and point downwards. This creates a different stretch through the arms, shoulders and neck while encouraging the arms to stay active and engaged.

Regular practice can help:
✨ Activate and strengthen the arms
✨ Release tension in the upper body
✨ Improve shoulder and arm mobility
✨ Encourage better posture
✨ Balance strength with relaxation

One of the beautiful qualities of this variation is the combination of active engagement and softness. Allow the fingertips to connect naturally without forcing the position, keeping the shoulders relaxed and the neck comfortable. Breathe steadily and explore the stretch without pushing beyond what feels good.

If you'd like to learn Spreading the Feathers (Yang Alternative), I've created a short guided video that you can follow along with whenever you'd like to explore shoulder mobility, engage the arms and create a greater sense of openness through the upper body.

🎉 New Qi Gong Short Now Available! 🎉

I'm pleased to share my latest Qi Gong video: Single Shoulder Roll Forward – Basic Version.

This gentle Qi Gong exercise uses the natural movement of the hip and shoulder to help release tension through the shoulders and upper back while encouraging greater freedom and ease through the upper body.

In Qi Gong, allowing the hip to lead the movement and letting gravity assist the shoulder can help the muscles relax without forcing or stretching them. As the shoulder and hip gently roll forwards and backwards, the arm remains loose and relaxed, allowing unnecessary tension to gradually release. With each repetition, the movement can become smoother and more fluid, helping to loosen the shoulder and promote greater mobility through the upper back.

One of the things I love most about this exercise is its simplicity. You don't need any previous Qi Gong experience—just a willingness to slow down, breathe naturally, and explore the practice with curiosity rather than trying to achieve perfection.
