Today was our lovely Ava’s last day visiting us in her school uniform as she only has 7 school days left before she officially leaves!

But don’t worry she will continue to be with us weekly on a Wednesday and even extra days for her volunteering and Duke of Edinburgh!

What glorious weather we have had!

We have all been enjoying the sunshine in small measures ☀️

Stop the clock has been back on the agenda, which has been loved by all! ⏰ Everyone downing tools and getting together to spend quality time with everything living here!

Amber kept us all entertained while she played in her pool, chasing balls while we were trying to keep out the splash zone! 💦

We’ve had bingo, gardening, ice lolly and ice cream trolleys, pampering, bible reading and songs, poem reading, riddles and rhythms and exercise class!

Tending to our garden before the sun comes out fully.

Potato’s, rhubarb and all the other veg, herbs and flowers are coming on very well! 🥔

We will be having lots of drinks and snacks today

As we come close to the end of all the refurbishment work, I wanted to share some picture of how it’s been going and what it’s like now!

It’s been a crazy few months but it’s finally all coming together.

Patsy has been the hostess with the mostess lately and we had the pleasure of the D-day Dollies, which is always fabulous for us all!

We love a good old sing along 🎶🎤🎵

What a fabulous day some of the ladies have had with one of our chefs Zoe!!

They made biscuits from scratch, rolled and cut them all out, while they went to bake in the kitchen Patsy helped clean everything and set the tables in time for them to be fresh out the oven and ready to taste with a lovely hot cuppa! 🍪

Patsy said “ This brings back so many memories of when my children were little” ❤️

Zoe’s afternoon pamper, went down an absolute treat, nails, hair and relaxation. 💅

They ended the afternoon with a stroll to the bridge for a bit of fresh air

As many of you know, we are undergoing a massive transformation here at Victoria manor with the refurbishments but we still keep on being joy and togetherness for everyone!

We can’t wait to see all the changes come together and for you all to finally see it!
