🌞 I've been reflecting a lot on my own yoga practice lately as I'm doing some deep study and upskilling on teen yoga and yoga for menopause.

🌞 I've been reading a lot of research and it puts into words and stats how I've felt in yoga since I started practising it over 20 years ago- yoga's amazing benefits for physical and mental health and wellbeing🧘🏽‍♀️

🧘🏽‍♀️ Yoga is not simply exercise, it is soooo much more. It is a practice of unifying the breath and the movement and meditation; of building greater self-awareness, and allowing for self-compassion and self-love.

🧘🏽‍♀️ And when I see new people try yoga at my class it lifts my heart. My hope is that they too will find their own special magic in their yoga practice and that it will help them navigate the ups and downs of life as it does mine🙏🏽

🌞 And if you want you can join my summer yoga sessions at The Bayhall on on Tuesday 23 June & July 7. 7.30-8.30pm.

🌞 Summer Yoga is back at The Bayhall, Derrytrasna. Co. Armagh🌞

These sessions are PAYG and are a great way to try a more gentle style of yoga that includes functional breathwork, as well as a beautiful meditative relaxation at the end of the movements/asanas.

💫This is one hour created just for and your wellbeing in a supportive yoga class💫

How did I end up on a farm near Bath, at a Women’s Circle facilitator’s retreat with 10 women I’d never met before? 💫

I followed a crazy spark of intuition that told me this was exactly where I needed to be. ☀️

🌸 Last November, I did a live online facilitator training with . She inspired me so deeply, and everything just felt right. Fast forward to this weekend: a beautiful garden, nourishing food, a much-needed digital detox, sleep, relaxation, and fireside sing-songs with a group of incredible space-holders.

💐We shared stories, practiced deep journaling, meditation, yoga, and reminded ourselves why active listening is so incredibly important in this work.

I feel so deeply called to do this, to hold space, to provide an outlet, a voice, and a sacred community for women. My heart is so full of gratitude 🤍

💫 I've been studying "Yoga for Menopause and Beyond" online from the comfort of my own home with every weekend in May.

I can't believe it's almost over!! Such an amazing and informative training, deeply evidence-based and supported by science.

💫 It's been a learning journey that reveals that we women are beautifully complex and also that when 50% of the population experience menopause in their lifetime improving awareness and providing support are so important 🥰

Áit álainn ar an Lorgain- An Pháirc Phoiblí i lár an bhaile 🌳🌷

🦢Tá an Pháirc beo le ceol na n-éan faoi láthair. Is fiú buaileadh isteach chuig an choill bheag i lár na Páirce le héisteacht le glór binn an Nádúir. Lig do scíth ansin cois locha le picnic bhlasta. 🌀

🌿 Lurgan Park is the second largest urban park in Ireland and it's absolutely beautiful at this time of year. It's worth a wee visit into the wooded area in the middle to hear the birdsong and see the carpet of bluebells and other wild blossoms 🌸🌳. Bring a picnic to chill by the lakeside 🌀

Research shows that listening to birdsong reduces stress, anxiety and can help to improve low mood 🥰🧘🏽‍♀️🌸
