This week to celebrate Care Home Open Week (World cup themed) residents have enjoyed participating in various ball games, football themed baking sessions, armchair exercises, and some musical entertainment. There was lots of fun, laughter and music

For the residents at Hartley House music plays an important role in their wellbeing and evokes emotions and engages memories. Today we had a visit from. Biddenden Strummer, residents enjoyed a good old sing song and joined in with playing some percussion instruments

We kicked off our Care Home Open Week with a good old sing song with resident's favourite Andy Mace. In the afternoon we enjoyed playing some balloon and ball games.

To start off Care Home Open Week and the World Cup yesterday some of our residents enjoyed taking part in the World Cup themed Fun day and BBQ at Halden Heights Care Home. Our residents enjoyed chatting to everyone and enjoyed lunch out on the patio, admiring the view. Thank you Halden Heights for inviting us. Great food, great fun and great company.

A great way to start the week. Residents enjoyed a good old sing song with Janet (Cabaret With Care). The room was full of fu, laughter, smiles, dancing and pom poms.

Not too hot, not too cold-just enjoying being in the garden and making the most of the sunshine. It's great for wellbeing, helping lift your mood, reduce stress, and enjoy a bit of fresh air and nature.

Music and exercise support wellbeing in many ways. They lift mood, encourage social interaction, support physical health and stimulate memory and cognitive function.

Residents enjoyed gentle exercise, pom pom shaking, great music, and plenty of fun together.

We’re looking forward to Care Home Open Week and the football-themed celebrations taking place at our home.

It will be a lovely chance to bring residents, families, team members and the local community together for activities, smiles and plenty of fun.

Exciting week ahead! Care Home Open Week is almost here. A big thank you to Championing Social Care for organising this wonderful event every year.

This year’s football theme makes it even more special, creating the perfect opportunity for residents, families, team members and local communities to come together, enjoy the activities and celebrate.

Across our care homes we have a fun-filled week planned to engage our residents, create joyful moments and bring plenty of smiles.
