❤️ Let’s Talk Neighbourhood Health – help shape the future of health and care in Devon ❤️

NHS Devon has launched Let’s Talk Neighbourhood Health, a countywide engagement programme giving patients, communities, staff and partners the opportunity to help shape how neighbourhood health develops across Devon.

Neighbourhood health is a key part of the national direction for health and care. It is about bringing together general practice, community services, mental health, social care, hospitals, public health, voluntary and community organisations and other local partners to provide more joined-up support around the needs of people and communities.

For general practice, this is an important conversation. GPs, practice teams understand their local populations and see every day where services work well, where patients experience barriers or fragmentation, and where working differently across organisational boundaries could improve care. The feedback from this engagement will be used to inform developing priority areas for local Neighbourhood teams – whilst supporting delivery of the One Plan for Devon.

The dispensary team have been working super hard and we have more than 1,300 patients' medication orders ready and awaiting collection.

If you’re due to pick yours up, please try to visit before the bank holiday weekend.

Friday afternoon will be especially busy, so queues are expected. We really appreciate your understanding and kindness towards our dispensary team.

Please note: the practice will be closed on bank holiday Monday, our team are looking forward to a well earned rest🌟

It’s Tuesday so our lovely volunteers have refreshed the Growing Well Shed. It’s located just outside the surgery/dispensary entrance so if you’re coming for an appointment or to collect a prescription be sure to bring up some loose change!
